CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2011 -2012

Sorry guys.......I screwed up the "YEARS"

CORRECTION: I sponsored my husband in Dec 2010. Rec'd my client Id in Jan 2011. Remedical, additional documents sent including original nikkah nama and police certificates in March 2012. Right now they are underway background checks. And its already been 2 months. Somebody please help me who is facing the same situation.

And recent updates are "my application is underway background checks". God knows how long these background checks takes.....

Seniors/Experts......please advise

If you have the line "medical results have been received" added to your ecase thats mean ur background checks are done and next step is ppr.. Now its up to their wish when they will send ppr so just pray hard for urself and for evryone on this forum ... Stay blessed

Yes, on my ecas it shows "medical results have been received" since May 2012.

also i send then few add documents like re pcc, supp form etc.

Well if yours shows "IN PROCESS" then that's a good thing. They will only send remed if necessary. If your medical expires before they make decision, they'll send remed request otherwise you'll get ppr eventually. Usually takes a few months for them to decide.

We sent you a letter on November 7, 2011 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

well my case is absolutely same as you. I was sponsored on 24 august 2011, and file transfer was Nov 2011.now am sure your file is already under background checks for 2 or more months same as mine and BeenAli.I dont know either you are the husband or wife being sponsored.that impact on processing time if the wife is being sponsored.all the wife cases were processed very fast as I ve read about many cases in this forum.
But no worries make sure u ve sent everything they require,dont wait for them to ask you for additional document.that can cause only about hell delay for many months.
Keep in touch.Inshallah we gona join our fellllas before the end of this year.

As per my understanding and wisdom working with government environment in Canada. They won't bother to expedite your case in CHC-I if you contact/enquire very often.

I am kind of in the same boat as you. On October 4th, 2010 my file got processed to Islamabad. June 07, 2012 it says in Process. I had sent my additional documents, 2nd police report, photos after wedding etc with my wife. My wife had sent one medical and I think it is expired or will soon. And what is Ecas because I think all mine says in in Process and nothing else and I dont get updates such as my application is underway background checks, or medical recieved etc. So what is the next process and how long more am I looking at and also inform me about ECAS?

Application was sent to CIC Mississauga on August-05-2011
Application was received by CIC Mississauga on Agust-10-2011
Sponsorship Approval Email received from CIC on 27-oct-2011
Processing Started on June-07-2012
E case status is (IN PROCESS)
