Hello to lovely guys in the forum.

i got medical and updated police certificate request and to submit some forms on June 07. and did all within July 20.

Does any one know what will happen next? and approximately when?

since you medical expired in June so you will get remedical or remedical and PPR soon InshaAllah!

Phew, Alhumdulillah my wife finally received Quetta PCC, she will send the remaining docs tomorrow via fedex.

I gave her this address to send the stuff to:

Canadian High Commission
Immigration Section, Diplomatic Enclave
Islamabad 44000, Pakistan

InshAllah now with this stuff our sponsorship will go in process and soon we'll get PPR!! you guys think I'll get PPR by September?? considering we've already done remed and they're just waiting on these additional docs...

i guess they are doing your background checks but since its a wife case it wont take too logn and you will get PPR InshaAllah

Masha Allah Masha Allah, today I got my passport back with visa stamped. It took 43 days to get my passport back & a total of 17 months for the completion of process. Now Insha Allah i'm flying to my husband on Sunday. I pray that all those who r waiting for either PPR or Passport will get theirs soon...

all of you waiting for PPR would like to ask if any of you have paid RPRF FEE ?i was thinking i did not pay and might this delay of getting PPR due to that .... would u pl z guide if that's the reason ?

i paid it and sent receipt with the initial application package back in 2011

For all who have done re-med in May/June/Jul and waiting for PPR - since I am in the same boat - I went through the 2010 - 2011 spreadsheet of cases and noted down the duration between re-med and PPR and then took the average of these 63 cases and it came out to be 3.2 months. So I think it's pretty normal to wait 3-4 months between Re-med and PPR even if your case is straight forward. So keep your spirits high and inshAllah we will hear some good news in the comming months!! Remember that worry does not empty tommorow of sorrow, it empties today of strength. So try to keep strong and hang in there, inshAllah we're almost there! I felt really down all of last week but trying to think positively because that's all we can do

I received the same reply from the embassy through my MP...background checks have been going on for 8 months now..and they still dont know when they will be completed.

oh my God,since 8 months its been going on.I pray for you to get this over successfully soon.Inshallah
I dont understand what's going on in real.if there's no crime or traceable thing then it shouldn't take more.
ppls expect this to get over within 3-6 months.but in real we never know either embassy is giving is right or false information through email.I ve doubt on them honestly.they most often reply to many ppls including me about background checks.

if they sent remeds then they still check background or what is their criteria?

i guess they are doing your background checks but since its a wife case it wont take too logn and you will get PPR InshaAllah

In my husband's case, he works for a top international security company so yeah I can see why his background checks are taking a while - but 8 months is enough time to complete! inshaAllah they will be completed in this month of Ramadan (ameen) and they will hear of PPR as well (ameen).
