How could you tell your file was transferred on March because your online status doesn't show that right?

Mr.Imran Ali, Deputy General Council is taking a serious interest in raising the issue of spouse immigration. He talked to me on phone and pledged to take up the issue. Danny has also mentioned about such call.

I want all those respected members here to write to him an email who have not written any email so far because I believe that larger the number of complaints the stronger our case would become. Submit your email as a complaint.

I'm good Tuco. I have been busy taking care of other personal matters, renewing my mortgage etc. I did, however, log in every couple of days to update the excel document, so it is pretty much up-to-date. Plus i didn't have any good news to share or had questions for senior members... not adding much value to the forum, am I?

Actually the online status does give you the date CHC - Islamabad received the PR application. According to ecas, CHC - Islamabad received my package on March 18th, 2011. Thus, I entered March '11 for the file transfer date. Perhaps i should've entered the date under a different category? Anyways, it doesn't matter now...

i just spoke with imran ali over the phone and he told me that only 4 people send him the email .this way it is not going to work you have to gather atleast 20 people and go to the local mp and fax to jason kenney or email him and then they might do anything.

He said he can only escalate things but you have to gather atleast 20 people team and go to your local MP and then try to fax or email to Jason kenney.I donot think so ,the emails we are sending him going to make a difference but if we do alot of faxes and emails to jason kenney may be .

Nope, the status hasn't changed in my case either. It remains "Application Received". The way CHC is at the moment, I don't expect any changes till June or July. But there is always hope ...

It's quite embarassing actually. After all the hoo haa, we could only muster 4 people. We need to wake people up, perhaps create a sample e-mail that individuals can simply copy/paste and shoot it across to Imran?

I see a few people saying that they got letter of objection because
"nikah with Barat at marriage hall but no Rukhsati"
seems like they provided pics but how will one come to know if there was a Rukhsati or not??


In IMM5490E q.27 Have you and your sponsor lived together?

If you answer No --- Its clear

But do you still get an objection if you answer Yes --- that will be super Awkward

what other ways do they check for Rukhsati??
