Thank you everybody for your answers to my above question regarding additional pages etc. Appreciate it.STH said:I suggest you print the same page as much as you need, but fill only the part that ran out of space. You don't need to fill each part again. Write down A, B, C, in each page you add to show it is the continuation of previous page.

According to the above mentioned link what do you think should we contact them about the processing times and would they hear us?

Hi Omar how would you like us to contribute -- any ideas ?? -- People on this form are reluctant to do anything -- I think we should talk to the High commissioner of Pakistan and explain him our situation and get him to talk to the immigration ministerOmar Mirza said:Please everyone! Contribute! Send emails and make calls. I want my wife to be with me asap. What about you guys?
Great Work ---- Do you think we should set up an appointment with the High commissioner of Pakistan and discuss this face to faceDanny4450 said:Guys,
I just got a call from Pakistani embassy in Toronto. I emailed them regarding the lengthy processing time for spousal sponsorship from Pakistan. They followed up with me today and asked me to provide the link where it shows the official sponsorship time and they will take this issue to the higher authorities both in Ottawa and Islamabad. He agreed with me that it is brutal and unacceptable and shows that we are being discriminated against. When I told him the timeline for India, he couldn't believe it and assured me that he will do everything possible to take this issue to higher authorities. In the end he thanked me for bringing up this issue and told me that he will follow up with me soon.
Lets hope there will be something done to reduce the timeline as more pressure would be put on the Canadian Government to speed up spousal sponsorship Visa InshaAllah
I spoke with Mr. Imran Ali, Deputy Consul General directly and he told me that they are concerned about this as well especially comparing it to timeline for India which is 6 months. He said they will do everything possible to decrease the timeline and get the higher authorities involved with Ottawa and Islamabad. I guess they realize it and hopefully will do something about it InshaAllah. This way the new applicants or the recent applicants won't have to go through what we are going through.jay123456 said:Great Work ---- Do you think we should set up an appointment with the High commissioner of Pakistan and discuss this face to face

The only issue I would see with emailing them is to provide them with your File number. Once the file number is with them, they can look into it for you or against you. I don't think anyone would take a risk to jeopardize their case processing, as you know how the conservative government has been. So it might work against you if you provide with the file number and name. I am not comfortable providing my info.. LOL.. Although, one can send a general email and ask them to look into the timelines for Islamabad without providing them with your name and file number but then without those I doubt it would be effective.sabii said:Hi Danny,
