Hi All
I have heard that they are planning on hiring more Immigration officers for the Islamabad Branch in order to speed up the process. Has anyone heard of such a thing along your wait times??

We didn't see them speed up yet. They are now working on Nov 2010 file transfers and sending the first request letter (IMM Forms/ Re-Pcc). Hopefully they will speed up in January.

Thanks for the Reply

Is there anyone here that has applied a Visit Visa for their Wife and was successful.

Thanks

nothing is impossible, to get a visa of any country for pakistani citizen is not that easy, normally North American countries prefer to give visa on a passport with some travel history, If u go with a blank passport to get a visa the chances are 0

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope the new year brings positive changes in our lives. Keep the faith, because this wait will end one day!

All the best for 2012. :D

I hope this new year brings lots of happiness into peoples lives and inshallah lots of people get PPR and visas...

Our new year should begin with a dua...that "O Allah, forgive all our sins" instead of fireworks. We should be thankful to Allah that he has given us a longer life so we can see 2012.

Moreover, we should remember the less fortunate in our prayers. I know a few people in Canada who don't have enough money to even sponsor their spouse. They have been saving up since the past 6 months. We should pray for their wealth and well being.

We should never forget each other on this forum and pray for each other with a clean and open heart for a speedy process.

This is what New Years is all about.

Hope 2012 makes lots of members here happy and brings together a lot more couples. Ameen.

Happy New Year to every one. May this year prove to be full of joy & happiness.

Cheers

Hello Everyone & happy new year

My timeline is as follows

Application for my wife recived by cpcm 23 oct 2011 (provided all the forms, medicals, pcc, photographs and all required docs)

What is going to happen next?
Will my wife get a new file number from islamabad 0r it will be the same?
We are expecting first baby in March 2012, What happens then?

I shall appriciate greatly senior members guidance :)

Hi All

Thanks for all your great information. I just wanted to know if you can pay your fees online for an outland application when applying for your spouse sponsorship. The only option i see to pay online is
Immigration Applications for Persons in Canada --- Is this for Inland file only or we can also pay for outland file ??
Thanks
