I suppose ur right... another issue i am trying to do research on is y does Canada Immigration make it longer when a wife applies for huzbnd?? Any help, any answer?

Because men tend to work for government positions, military, go out of the country to work therefore longer background checks!

^ exactly what wes786 bhai said. Also "husband applicant" usually go through double security clearance before a visa is issued. If there is a lot of travel history, for example.. then these security checks that much longer to complete

What can I say bro, it depends on families and your personal choice whether you want to do rukhsati or not. You don't even need to do rukhsati if you think you have enough evidence to prove that your marriage and relationship is genuine...

The other thing.. My wife is studying in a Madressah. Do you think it will have a negative effect on our case?

No I don't think that should matter. She is spending time in the path of deen, I am sure Allah will reward you and your wife in return InshAllah...

I have question to all of the forum members. If in case CHC ask me to provide more proof then I have a plan of submitint quatation from one of the catering service provider in Karachi. Letter will include the cost of mehndi, ruksati and walima and will also confirm that I have already paid advance to them and booked them. Is that going to be too much of the info should I do it or it will be more suspicious for CHC?? Need everyone's opinion.

I think it should be ok to provide all that info if you are NOT planning to actually do all those function before the VISA.

yeh that is my plan I would give them all the proof which they might havent even seen in Nikah only cases. I will do whatever I can to fight against the stupidity of CHC which they show in Nikah only cases. I pray to ALLAH to make things easier for me and others too.

Can anyone answer my questions?? When r we suppose to give them phone bills. We r obviously gonna start talking after Nikah...i m gnna stay in Pak for 3 months..so i ll apply when I cme back..so do i send the records afterwards ir the ones with the application? Send everything you have and you can with your initial application then keep collecting the proofs and update them about 6-7 months after the file transfer(before initial review, which is 9-12 months after file transfer).
