In that case, you should be A-Okay. All you have to do is continue to collect proof like phone bills, chat history, gift receipts, etc and submit them with your application or 4-5 months after (if you didn't already have include it in the initial application).babarkhan said:

I have the same objection about privacy, but they have your whole file in front of them. You can decide not to include it if you don't feel comfortable with it. You can have other proofs submitted instead, like greeting cards, gift receipts, and other things.babarkhan said:
True, husband cases take longer to complete, by looking at the trend. But you are in Canada, so you'll be the sponsor and therefore you will be sponsoring your wife and you should be fine. Average time to complete the process is currently at 26 months after AOR.babarkhan said:

Wow yaar, is that a sign that they start processing January AORs along with the rest or will there still be more waiting involved... according to what has happened in the past with cases in 2010.wes786 said:It happens all the time! I can just feel the pain they must be having looking at the people ahead of them moving ahead in the process.
Its true but think about it from their point of view. You get a file for xyz couple and they claim to be married and in a relationship and one of them want to sponsor the other. Without having to look at some of the personal details, they cannot decide based on just Nikah Nama (Marriage Certificate) and determine that they really are a couple.babarkhan said:

AOR means 'Acknowledgment of Receipt'.
If you apply from CPC-M, you are given a Client ID, that ID is the sponsor's ID.
Another ID is created for the applicant when the file is transferred from Mississauga office to CHC-I.
CHC-I used to issue AOR letters before that included the applicant file # but they don't do that anymore. To get the Applicant File #, now you have to request it by asking them through email.
The Applicant ID is used to submit further proof of relationship or any correspondence to CHC-I so that the updates can be placed in the proper file.
They never asked you to marry someone from Canada did they? You got married in Canada and you want to move there so you are providing everything to them. If some stranger wants to come live in your house would you just let him in without any investigation and/or background checks? All the proofs they ask for is because people misuse the system and they want to make sure that none of them are fruad cases which are still happening even after all the stuff they ask for and all the security checks.babarkhan said:
