Here is another Nikah case (JAN 2010 AOR) done rukhsati in July 2011 and wife received passport back with visa today.

I have a question. How long does the person have to leave pakistan once the visa has been stamped? Is there an expiry date on the visa? Is there a specific time period given? I really need to know this because my wife is university and will come here once she graduates. That is July 2012. If she gets visa in April 2012. I still have to wait. I hate university.

SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION....

Yes ! The expiry of the Medical examination ( Medical is valid for one year from the day it is done) is also the expiry of your visa if it is issued in between .

The Visa would be valid till expiry of medical or passport whichever comes first.

Yes ! The expiry of the Medical examination ( Medical is valid for one year from the day it is done) is also the expiry of your visa if it is issued in between .

The Visa would be valid till expiry of medical or passport whichever comes first.

Maximum of 12 months. So if you have had your medicals done in July 2011; VISA would also expire in July 2012, unless your passport expires before July 2012 then VISA would also expire on the passport expiry!

This guy was going to meet his wife anyways on eid. He is my coworker and we were on the same flight. His wife received all these letters on the first week of August. The visit to pakistan then turned into a full fledged wedding ceremony. Everything was done quickly submitted quickly and within time (45 days) and he gave solid proof of contact. His wife got ppr right away even tho his AOR was Sept 2010.
