I haven't received any of the documents back yet. When do they return all the originals?? Is it after you get the visa or before? I got my ppr recently so any idea when they'll be returned?

I didn't receive my pp yet and it's been 13 days since i got the status as 'decision made'
but i can't see any column of my home address in ecas, just my paki mailing address is there..
any 1 who has gone through such experience or who has some knowledge about such cases?
God knows when my home address will b added in ecas n i ll get my pp back with visa.. :-X

I submitted PR application file for my wife today. I am praying that everything goes well and there
are no unnecessary delays. I see that lot of ppl are waiting for their husbands/wives for a long time
and now I am in the same situation so I understand ur frustration. May Allah give us all sabar and
the strength to bear this difficult time. I wish u all happiness and may Allah grant u what ur heart
desires.

I just wanted to ask that I have heard that the processing times for "wives cases" is much faster when
u apply from Quebec. Is there any truth to this statement?

Just wanted to hear ur opinion.

Someone told me that for first time immigration you shouldn't take a connecting flight through Europe. Anyway, I was planning to stop over for a few days in Dubai before going onward to Canada. Has anyone ever heard of this being a problem?

I haven't heard of that. A friend of mine and his wife came through Europe earlier this year for immigration.

Unfortunately, that is not true. There is no different timeline for spousal case in the province of Quebec. I'm a Quebec citizen by birth and i sponsored my wife from montreal city and its been 22 months already. Still no visa. However, don't be discouraged, if luck is on your side your case will be approved faster. If not, then you can see what is happening on the forum already.

My husband said they were putting them in computer and had a note pad so yes they write all what you say down on paper and computer....

In Sha Allah you will receive your PP with visa on this coming Friday,,, i got my decision made on 26th Nov
and got PP back with visa on 29th Nov and my e-cas also showing pak address.. just be patient you will get it soon..
