I have already emailed CPP-OTT , just hoping they reply soon, if at all.

I need my wife's address changed in cause they send us some mail.
Our 1yr point since submitted our application is almost coming up. so that's why I am concerned.

Yes, it is weird that files still sit in Ottawa after original docs returned back. But that's what another person on this forum told me when I asked in August if it's normal to get docs back.

What a joke this immigration system is!!!
They should hand out a Temporary Visit Visa within few months to spouses and then have a condition of staying together for xx years to get PR or get your butt deported back to where you came from.
But that would make too much sense...

That is kind of a news that even after return of original documents from ottawa , files still sit in ottawa office

On CiC website there is no phone number. You may try contacting them by email but as that office is just a transit office for our files, they may not respond so you may need to contact CHC ISB once the file reaches there. Other option may be to contact CIC call center in Canada and inquire how to update the address

In your timeline it says you applied 27 Sept. 2012 but medical Nov. 2012. You did your medical after submitting your application?

And I see that your 1 year point has come since you applied. Have you thought about ordering Notes?

Hello all.

My wife recently contacted CHC-ISB by telephone to find out the status of her 'Change of Address' request sent few months back by fax, since no update on e-cas or confirmation letter/email.

The guy who answered informed her that our file hasn't even arrived to Islamabad yet, and most likely still sitting in CPP-OTT.
(I received some original docs back end of July 2013 from CPP-OTT).
The guy from CHC-ISB also confirmed with her that the file sits in Ottawa first and then later comes to Islamabad to get processed.

So my questions for you great people is that How can I CALL CPP-OTT to confirm if our file is in fact still sitting there?
I have already emailed today, but who knows when they will reply back.

Is there a Phone number anyone has for CPP-OTTAWA ?
I already have their email and mailing address and Fax... but need Telephone number please!!!

Anyone could please help me out. Thank you.

Salam, there is a Toll Free # you can call its the Call Centre they may be able to tell you In Sha Allah..
Its 1-888-242-2100. They might be able to tell you where your file is exactly, but you must be a Canadian Citizen in order to use this service. Never hurts to try......

and i am glad this long process ends today,, and i pray for all of you guyz who are still waiting..

Yes correct applied Sept 27 2012 but I didn't submit my hubands medical. Actually we had just had a baby daughter and I was busy with her. Nov 7 CPP-OTT sent me a letter requesting the medical and provided me with a file number. My husband completed his medical and it was than submitted Nov 12 2012.

I want to order the notes but my daughter and I are in Pakistan with my husband for a little while. In sha Allah will order them this month someone in my family in Canada will assist with $5 money order

Yes I've already received my passport last Monday Alhumdulillah.

I know how excruciating this process is, and you've been waiting for twice as long as most of us. I pray Allah sorts this whole thing out for you, and for all the rest of us.
