as for hand carry you are allowed 1 piece @ 7kg but also you are allowed one personal item (for women this is usually purse, or can be a backpack/bookbag, camera bag, laptop case, etc.) So if u have 1 hand carry and 1 shopping bag it should be ok. What i sometimes did was keep the extra bag...

56 days for us also and still nothing... there are a few ppl here in our same situation and some whom still haven't got it back since late-Nov. Hopefully this week is our week.

Are you sure you're entering tracking # correctly on the website? If it still shows invalid, call the TCS office and inform them of the situation. Usually it arrives next day to the Embassy and will be received/signed by AHMED. Don't worry, your ppt will arrive their safely inshaAllah.

Most ppl send using TCS. But u can also use FedEx. Difference is with TCS they send to ISB and u get a tracking # for the one way. then the embassy will mail u back passport u get a different tracking # (which u wont know until u get ur pp back) and u have to pay Cash on Delivery to the TCS...

Oh, didn;t know there were protesting in Isb Friday ... but then again, when are they not protesting.

Thank you for your support bro! Further update: My MP's assistant finally called back to provide an update. She said CHC-Isbad has confirmed they have wife's passport, there are no issues with it & the reason for the delay is due to high volume at the consulate. It is in queue for processing...

Nov 12th they received your pp, so means just over 2 months later you got it back... also means I might still have some waiting to do :( MashaAllah congrats and very happy for your bro! You have been an immense help to this forum helping us getting tracking #s. Plz let me know if I can help...
