Sister! Reason is simple: MONEY
These people are saying that EQUAL WORK MEANS EQUAL PAY ..... so for their personal interests they are affecting our lives

I had sent all that info with the application (pictures -wedding and post wedding- call records, texts/whatsapp/skype/ facebook etc.) Do I need to resend these?

Are you telling me that the initial review will start now??? I thought after I was approved as the sponsor my application would've gone directly to CIC Islamabad but this recent letter from CPP threw me off (as why is Ottawa sending me a letter).

Will the application NOW head to Pakistan?

As per suggestion send post wedding contact proof of emails and call history and skype screenshots to Islamabad office as soon as possible before the visa office starts your initial file review, good luck

My file trasfered to islamabad on 18 january and couple of days ago ottawa sent back my orginal nekah nama and Taskera back to my husband address in canada, so has it happened to new applicants plz let me know , im worrying alot

Yes it happened with me Case Processing Center sent back our Nikah nama and my wife's Education documents back. I am also trying to figure out what that means. So far based on my research this is a good sign as at least someone went through our sent documents and decided what was/wasn't needed. Since this Pilot was designed to quicken the process I believe the next steps would be background check of the applicant (yourself if you are in Pakistan).

Also, the good thing about this is that if they did not request more information/pictures/or asked you guys to redo certain forms than that means you will not have to wait to re-submit info and what they have they deem sufficient.

That is my speculation, however, if someone else knows better please share

Back ground checks commence after your medical not before and if they are saying 31 months it maybe a while before this happens sorry to say it. Sometimes your medical expires then they request a new one either before or when you have interview. If the Interview is not needed they resend request for a new medical if this one has expired. That's if your case has been final. After this process then they start background checks. They don't start back ground check until your medical is done and they have the results. I hope its not 31 months In Sha Allah

They asked the government to raise their salary, though they don’t work as they should ,I think the government should reduce their payment because those gays are retarded; as I can see In this forum; some 2010 and lots of 2011 cases are still in process, the CA government assigned a bunch of tortoise in ISB office, they are too slow.

if you have sent post wedding contacts proof then no need to send them again and no visa office may have already reviewed your application and if she/he is convinced you will get re-medical, normally your file is opened for the first time after 11 to 12 months of file transfer but that could happen earlier as well, good luck
