2011 applicants are really unlucky.
But, did anybody notice that all the media is quite and other than us on this forum mostly even in Canada NOOOO BODY KNOWS anything about strike. This is the reason that from the last so long there is no progress to stop this strike.
You Know Why?????Because it is we who are suffering and not them who are responsible for all this strike.

I am sick and tired of Islamabad. Today I applied for ATIP to see what is going on so please everybody pray that soon we all start getting good news from Islamabad.
It has been really veeeery, Very, very long that none of us have heard any good news. Islamabad is really killing us all 2011 .

Bro have you ordered GCMS notes or have you tried emailing CHC-I about your passport, r you sure they haven't sent back your passport and it has not been lost in mail or something, do you see IN PROCESS in your ECASE status?

Did anyone received any packages from tcs between 7 & 15 august. According to the tracking numbers they didn't send anything out for a whole week.

I just checked from TCS website and canadian high commission has sent many packages on 15th and 16th aug13, that means they are still working and not on strike, hopefully

Yes, they seemed to have resumed work. As far as I knew (which wasn't much cuz I wasn't following the news) Islamabad was never on strike right? I think the week of inactivity was because of eid/independance day/security situation in Islamabad.

Yes you are right, this ws all because of Eid and 14th Aug holidays, Just wanted to ask you if you have ever tried to contact CHC-I about your passport and what was their reply?

they are sending packages through tcs
as two of our follow members got rejection for their spousal trvs
so hopefully they are working now
plz pray for me everyone reading the post

through canadapost , my husband sent package to islamabad on 18 july 2013, still nt delivered to isl? dnt knw if they r on strike, y its takng so long :'(... on tracking, it says item hs been releasd to destination from custom.

Whenever I posted anything to my wife
it took 15 days usually
but recently I sent her eid cards
which is not delivered yet
Its becox of eid rush
she already said that I ll receive after a month becoz of eid

Salam everyone!

Hope everyone had a good Eid. I have a update from my side .I followed up with my mp office 2 weeks ago and the response I got was the file is still in background checks, and we should follow up again in Oct we are now in 29 months of processing and its getting more difficult day by day .Its a shame that Pakistan has the highest processing time of 31 months. I wish that all of us on this forum can take some action against this timeline. I know in the past forum members have emailed people in Ottawa but their response and action was not that effect .But now it seems like the Canadian Government are on the path of trying to stop immigration from Pakistan ,which is very scary.

They obviously pay no heed to our e-mails and we contact our MP every month but he tells us the same thing that it is going through background checks! Never ordered gcms notes though. Planning to email them and ask for my passport back, at least.
