Hmm...couldn't you complain to management at CHC-I? and yea..talk to your MP. I know they can exempt someone from immigration and let them into the country. I just cannot remember the term...but its up to the MP to decide if they want to do such a thing or not. I don't know if they would do anything in this case since its 3 years into the case with no resolution...but maybe they can send an email to CHC-I on your behalf asking them to replace that dead officer with a living one so your application can proceed.

Hi dears,
as u know that i get remedical request after the 19 months(7 Dec 2012) of my application. Before this request another letter i received (Sept 2012) and they request the updated forms, prove of funding, emails, marriage pictures etc,

So i hope they will not asked for any further prove. All this was i sign of hope for me but when i checked on this Canadian form i get upset because some of my friends are still waiting for a long time even they get the PPR. One of friend's status showing decession made but they he is waiting for the passport.

1) one thing i like to ask what is the GCMS and how i can request for this.
2) Oh dears i seriously get upset now because in Jan 2013 i Plan to visit Pakistan (to see my wife and kids) and in the mean time my wife and kids get the immigration visa so that we came back Canada together. But now is so frustrated and helpless situation for me and for my family.

I think the one's you're referring to are those who got PPR + REMED together...so the officers still had to process and complete the checks before stamping visa and returning the passport.

I think those who get asked PPR by itself tend to get it back in 1 to 2 weeks as all checks have been done before they send ppr.

I know how you feel...I've gotten upset too. I was expecting to pick up my wife by end of the year...but wont be happening :/. i got asked in September then in November for more pictures of my wife, wedding vcd etc.

Man...don't they have their own wives to stare at??

below is the information for ordering GCMS notes.

Don't send a physical file inquiry through your lawyer. That will delay your case for sure. Go for GCMS notes. Here is how you can order them.

Fill out these two forms. IMM5475E form needs to be filled out by the applicant (in Pakistan) or the sponsor can fill it out and get the applicant's signature on it. Check on "I Authorize....". The applicant's info will go on "Your name", "DOB" and fill out the rest of the column. The sponsor is the designated individual and his/her name and address will go in the designated individual information required. The person being sponsored needs to sign in the applicant signature space. No need to have a signature in the spouse space, leave it blank.

IMM5563E needs to be filled out by the sponsor. Put a check mark beside "Access to Information Act", "English", "Email" and "NO" in section A.
IN section B, write the applicants last name, first name and date of birth. Then put a checkmark beside; "Electronic file" and "Status of application" only and the file number starting with FXXXXXXXXX and embassy as Islamabad. Thats all you need to fill out for section B.

In section C check "this request is submitted by Canadian citizen". Fill your immigration consultants info as required. Then fill out the rest of the information as the sponsors name, address etc etc. Then sign and date it.


The sponsor can pay the fee online; and select Access to Information and pay with credit card. The sponsor will have to register with them, just provide your email and create a password;

You can save the receipt or print it. They will email you a copy on your given email address as well.

Scan and attach both forms and the payment receipt and send it to atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca with GCMS ORDER in your subject from your email account. . In the body, just write " I would like to order GCMS notes - Thanks".

2-How is the staff especially at Lahore centre?Islamabad ?
3-Anyone got medical request through e mail ? Or it just comes via TCS?

1) First u call on Islamabad office (they send u in medical request on that number) for the medical appointment.

2) they will give u appointment and normally it will not later then 15 days. My wife go through the medical just 10 days ago and they she had to wait for this only 11 days for medical.

3) one thing which i like to advice when u get medical date. You should confirm about that date before two or three days left for medical. one of my friend had confusion with them and actually they made a mistake while entering data in system.

4) normally they send request by TCS but one of my friend get the Conformation letter by email. So it make no difference important thing u get the request.

5) I heard Staff is good and cooperative but they have no knowledge about the time to final the immigration case or any answer about the case. they only do the medical.
