CHC will be back to work on Monday after Eid Holidays?

I think they are off on Aug 31st and Sep 1st, so they should be back on Friday Sep 2nd.

2 months to get the passport back with the visa after submitting the passport with remedical. My wife sent PPR + remedical on the 4 th of August. Does this mean the earliest I can expect to get her visa is by October? Not anytime sooner ?

It does take atleast 6-8 weeks. When you do the medicals, it's analyzed first and then the results are couriered to new Delhi which takes about a week to week and a half. From there, depending on the backlog at New Delhi office it takes 2-4 weeks to get the results assessed and entered in their database. Then CHC-islamabad can access them electronically to make the final decision on the next BFD and once medicals are passed, it normally takes 2weeks to process/stamp/ and send visa to the client. So yes overall about 6-8 weeks some are a little sooner and some are even longer than 2 months as well.

and I would recommend Dr. Arif, the one who sits in Hameed Lateef. You will get an appointment for as soon as you need, plus you won't have to go anywhere else for the x-rays etc. They do all under one roof, and within an hour per person, you people shall be done! He did mine both times, and it wasn't a bad experience.
