By the grace of Allah, we recvd my PPR today. For those of you who are interested in knowing, given below is my timeline:

AOR: July 2010
Re-IMMM etc: July 2011
Re-Med: Aug 2011
PPR: TODAY - 25 AUG 2011

I pray that Inshallah everyone has a speedy progress on their processes, and that all of us unite with our spouses & loved ones soon. Ameen.

I have some suggessions to all my friends here. This is what I have observed and experienced, so decided to share with all!

As soon as the initial review is over, please do not send any further contact details, supporting documents, proof of relationship or any updates (other than what you really want to update, like: Address change or change in family structure etc) unless they ask you explicitly for those. ORDER CAIPS OFTEN, so that you know how your initial review went.

What happens is once they are done with your initial review, they normally decide your case right there and decision making officer is just a counter signing kind of guy who just follow the thread of comments and suggessions from the initial review. When you send extra documents in the middle of that, even if they have already made their decision, they are obligated to send the file back to the immigration officer to review those documents (They can not ignore your letters as they become part of your file). In that case your file looses its spot in the decision making queue or whereever it is and then again gets in the queue for review which means adding another 2 months.

Obviously you cant get around that when they ask you for further details but if they dont ask anything after initial review, i suggest to not to overload them with extra information, which infact they do not require.

Freinds with Nikkah only cases, please try to get the Rukhsati done well before Initial Review. Because when you loose your spot in initial review, there is a long queue of people with all kind of different objections. Dont wait for objections to come, be proactive.

For the friends who are in queue for initial review. Its the best time to send more supporting information to make your case simple and understandable. Once they doubt it, they do every possible check to clear their doubts. so its better to stay on track.

I hope this information will help you but seniors members may object if I am wrong! thanks for the wishes Saggit_16, Imtihan and Humaumair. May God help everybody and make this easy for all of us! Aameen!

Another Idea I had - when they ask for medical - why not send them everything they will ask for - for example police clearance, remedical, and even passport (if not planning not to go anywhere for sometime). This way you don't waste time sending and waiting for things going back and forth. Any suggestions?

I wont back that! since they do not take responsibility for any thing that they don't ask, but you still produce, it could get lost! If you know what i mean.... so imagine if you do that and again after few weeks/months they ask for passport, How would you be looking at yourself in mirror then?

nope.. we rcvd the IMM forms first, then a month later re-med and PPR 2 weeks after that MA!!
