Haylo..
I wouldn't recommend this.. sending one's passport voluntarily is a big risk.. I can't tell one what to do but I can tell what we did..
We sent our phone bills records, western unions slips, gmail inbox snapshots, skype things etc and other correspondence stuff every three months. I only had to send the stuff twice after our rukhsati in January 2011. Once in Feb, including our shadi pictures, hall bills, caterers etc, decor bills, wedding cards, post-shadi family dinners pictures, outings etc, EVERYTHING basically..and once again in May end. What I did though was that I sent new police cert along with it voluntarily (it is now valid until Nov 2011 and usually CHC does try to wrap up a case within 6 months of first correspondence).
In july, they contacted me for the IMM forms, my husband's passport copy (to match his entry and exit dates from CAN/ PAK with our shadi-time I presume) etc, minus the Police cert, as I had already sent one 5 weeks back.
I sent MY passport copy with my husband's when I dispatched the re-filled IMM forms.
After that, I have not sent anything voluntarily, nor did they ask for anything.. and Mashallah one month after the IMM, we got my Re-med.
So, it's better to play it safe and provide them with all kind of evidence before hand.. Just don't send your original PP. God forbid, kahin gum gaya tu phir kuch aur ho bhee nahi sakta..
Keep praying.. Inshallah behteri hogi.. take care.

Another Idea I had - when they ask for medical - why not send them everything they will ask for - for example police clearance, remedical, and even passport (if not planning not to go anywhere for sometime). This way you don't waste time sending and waiting for things going back and forth. Any suggestions?
