Call the Islamabad office at 92512086914. Yes these are the same forms you filled originally but as I said they want your current/updated recent activities as to what you have been doing for the past year. Also, to continue on with your background checks they want the valid current police certificate because the original one is expired.

Hi forum members,

I received the good news today that I wanted to share with everyone. My wife got her passport request today. We are May 2010 AOR and had re-medical requested on June 15th.

I and my wife are overjoyed. Alhmaduillah.

Timeline:
App submitted - March 2010
AOR - May 2010
Re-PCC - May 2011
Re-medical - June 2011
PPR - August 20, 2011

I had a question for people who have already received PPRs. My understanding is that the spouse section of the ppr form is to be left blank as the spouse is already in Canada. Could you folks pls confirm this? Thank you and good luck with your applications.

According to CIC website there are no restrictions about that anywhere see my previous reply below with link:

Assalam-o-alaikum ,

Well, I guess somewhere in CANADA , there is some section bla bla bla which states that the sponsoring person "spouse" has to be in CANADA until the PR process is completed.

My case was DENIED due to this reason in 2006. I burnt the letter I received because I was soooooo pissed so I dont have the actual Section bla bla bla for reference. Therefore, My hubby is making sure he stays for most of the processing time in CANADA until I get my ****** PR Visa this time INSHAH ALLAH.
I hope it helps. He can come visit for couple of weeks to show the validity of our relationship. And Inshah ALLAH he is coming ....Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Hoooooooooooooooo. ehm ehm.

Good luck to all of us and keep enjoying the Ramadan bros and sis.
