salam all, i am new here. i want a help in one matter of mine.
My AOR is of 5th Aug 2010

First time i emailed islamabad embassy in may asking them about my case and got a reply that my file in queue for initial review then again i emailed them on 13th july and got a reply that my file is in queue to be reviewed my immigration officer.
Till here it was ok but i emailed them again on 15th Aug and got a reply that a request letter was sent to you on 12 july and 45 days were given to comply. We await response to our request letter.
this thing made me tensed that it's been more than a month since they have sent a letter but i haven't received any yet, why is that??

i emailed back that, "I was disturbed that a letter sent to me around mid July has not been received by me so I tried to follow it up with our Post Office. I talked with the Post Master, and also our route mail-man, to ascertain if they had indeed delivered such a letter.
I was told by them that they could not possibly track it without having the `R/L' number and if possible date of posting.
and i requested to kindly email me their R/L number or send me a copy of letter again via courier."

but haven't got any reply back
i am confused and afraid
what to do now?
i am confused because when i emailed them on 13th july, why they didn't tell me that they have sent a letter on 12th july.

can anyone help me with this
i am worried, what to do now?

MAB,

This happened to me twice that the letter was not delivered. Simply inform them that you have not received the letter and they will resend you the letter. You can ask them to send the scan of letter via email which they can do, if its not remedical. They will also move your 45 days comply period accordingly.

You are not the first one that this happened to. As you know pak post is one of the worst services in Pakistan so it happens quite a bit. Keep emailing them and tell them to either send it again or send it via email. Since it's your first correspondence from them and 45 days to comply; I am confident that they sent you a request to provide the updated PCC and IMM forms including, application for PR, background declaration form, additional family information, and supplementary information forms again because the original PCC is expired and they require your current and updated travel/work/education and personal history. Your initial review is done but to continue on with your background checks they will require the updated forms and PCC that I mentioned above.

Thanks to ALLAH Almighty, so is it normal to put SELDEC 4 and then to 1 later on. Becasue relationship was established in the first review and interview was not foreseen.

4 does mean waived for sure.

I think selection decision is when they create a list of people to select for an interview but I am not 100% sure about it someone might be able to answer this one better.

OBJECTS OF I’TIKAAF AND ITS ADVANTAGES.

In view of the above, it is advisable that everyone entering the Masjid to join the congregational prayer should, on entering the Masjid, make the Niyyat for ‘I’tikaaf’, in thatcase it means that aslong as he remain busy with Salaat, Zikr, listening to lectures or sermons he also receive reward for the I’tikaaf. I always observed that my late father used to make ‘Niyyat’ for I’tikaaf whenever he entered the Masjid. Occasionally, by way of teaching and reminding his followers, he would raise his voice when reciting when reciting the words for ‘Niyyah’. The reward for I’tikaaf is great as indicated by the fact that the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) always used to perform I’tikaaf. The example of him who resides in the Masjid in I’tikaaf is that of a person who, having gone to a certain place to appeal for something, remains there until it is granted. When someone comes begging at our door and then refuses to leave until he has been granted his request. I am sure that even the person with the hardest heart amongst us will eventually give in to his request. How much more Merciful is Allah, and when someone persistently sits at His door, what doubt can there be in the fulfilment of his wishes. Allama ibn Qayyim, in explaining the significance of I’tikaaf writes that the actual aim is to divert the heart away from everything except Allah, and to make it come near to Allah, thereby forming a complete spiritual connection with the Creator. All wordly connections are thus cut off, for the sake of gaining Allah’s attention and all thoughts, desires, love and devotion become centred around Him. As a result, an attachment with Allah is attained – a love and friendship that will be the only support in loneliness of the grave. One can possibly imagine the great ecstacy with which that time in the grave will be spent.

In Maraaiqul Falaah, the author writes that I’tikaaf, when properly and sincerely performed, is among the most virtuous deeds. One cannot possibly enumerate all the great advantages and benefits in it. In actual fact, what takes place in I’tikaaf is that the heart is drawn away from everything else except the Creator, while the soul is actually laidat His door-step. All the time, one remains in a state of ‘Ibaadah’, even when one is asleep, one is still in His worship striving for nearness to Him. And Allah says (according to a Hadith): “Whoever draws near to Me (the length of) one hand, then I draw nearer to him (the length of) two hands, and whoever draws near to Me by walking, I draw nearer to him by running.” Moreover, in I’tikaaf one seeks refuge in the house of Allah, and is safe therein from all enemies.

I Became permanent resident in 2009 through Federal Skilled worker Program. At the time of my Immigration My Wife and 2 dependent kids for non accompanying members but they were declared and been the whole process for Example: Medicals..Proof of Relationship and etc. The case were approved and proceeded alone to Canada without my Family. I am Married since 2004 and father of 3 kids. I have already applied for their PR Application and it is in Process at Islamabad Office. I have just provided them few Pics of Reception and additionally proof of money transfer as i support them in Pakistan.

In this case what do you think i should follow the same track as newly Married couple do in their cases? Remember they are already in their Record and previously application been processed by the same Visa Office. At that time i was given a chance to get their Visas but i was unsure about my settlement in Canada of being having non of blood relations....

I was reading the case of humtum143 and I can actualy confirm what he did wad legally correct..

Under immigration policy and minister of external affair an applicant is allowed to send is application to any high commission points for processing of is application.

I called the CIC to confirm it.

For those who already applied it's to late..

Section is known as
Immigration Policy act exhibit 3.1

Alright, have you tried calling them? Give them a call and see if they behave a little better. Also, if you are sponsor, then try emailing them from applicant's email address or vice versa. They tend to ignore emails if people send more than two emails a month from same email address.

As I said before, this is a request to provide updated PCC and IMM forms see below. If they don't get back to you, goto CIC website and just fill out the forms and get a new PCC and send it to them:

1 - Updated RePCC
2 - Application for PR
3 - Background Declaration
4 - Additional Family Information
5 - Supplementary Information Form - http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/pakistan/assets/pdfs/PakistaniNationals-Form-en.pdf

You are not required to provide proof of recent contacts as these documents are asked to see whether the marriage is genuine or is a marriage of convenience.

In your case you already have 3 kids so you should not worry to prove that your marriage is genuine.
