All,

Today I have received a single page request for Update police Certificate & IMM forms unexpectedly.
They have asked for the following:
1- RePCC

Now I had already submitted PCC in April voluntarily and its not even 6 months to that and also in an email reply they said you would be getting remed request soon and here comes the IMM & rePCC request...... weird !!!
I have ordered CAIPS and hopefully would get response after 2-3 weeks.

Allhumdulillah I am glad to hear some progress on your filee. Don't see this as a negative thing- I can see you and your wife seem a little disheartened by this request and after seeing other peoples responses to your post some people are also saying this might mean your file is in initial review etc. However, in my humble opinion I think it's a great news it means they are working on your file. When I got this request from them my background checks were done (well my husbands) and after 2 weeks we got re-med and then 1.5 month later PPR so don't dishearten. The last 10 days are here and just kee p your duas going, you're in my prayers ;D

My husband got his PPR todayyyyy !!!!!!!!!!! with NO RE MEDICAL..... i am sooooooooo happyyyyyyyyy
in the letter it says nothing about re medical as his re med is valid till 0ct 2011...i dont know why islamabad mailed me before that we will send re med...

they gave 15 days to send the passport. and its written URGENT with a pen on it...

but mjhay re medical ka chakar nhe samaj aya...

i am so relaxed ALLAH ka laak laak shuker hai..my all fights with my husband will be over now Allah sub ka visa jaldi laye...wes, max , one 2 ka 4, shaima , rana sahib , and all the memeber who were a big support THANK U SO MUCH ...i had many ups and downs but u ppl were always there to help me bus ab dua kero visa aa jaye coz ye re medical ki mail zara tension day rhi hai....letter mai sirf passport manga hai

haylo.. I was just going through the pages when I saw your post!!
We're also July AOR and Mashallah say I'm done with my re-medical by now.. I was just wondering where you applied from? coz if it's Isb then you should Inshallah be hearing from them like ANY day now!! n I'd suggest you contact them via email.. like weekly contact shuru karo.. cz if you/ your spouse lives in karachi, then there's a high probability of mail getting lost. (I'm saying this cz a cousin of mine used to get her letters either way after the BFD or not at all. Once the CHC called her on her cell to confirm, and then they had to re-send her IMM stuff..) Hope this solves your concern.. In short, start bugging them. They will hopefully respond with a better answer than 'your file in in queue for review' IA.

i am july 2010 AOR and its been 13 months ihvt receiv any letter since then.very much upset.my husband inquired once by email and they are like your file is in queue for initial review

Congratulations to everyone who got PPR it's so hard going through every single post and individually responding to peoples posts so I will just say mabrook to you all in this post. It's always nice to come on here and see that there is good stuff going on for thsoe people waiting for visas. inshAllah I hope that everyone will be united with their spouses sooner rather than later and as the last 10 nights of Ramadan are on us I would say we should make our ibadat stronger and inshAllah I will remember everyone in my prayers!

Thats what I first thought too, but then people started questioning it. So I went and looked at CIC website for clarification and the link I provided, it says that you can come and go whenever you want as long as you meet all requirements to re-enter CANADA. I am assuming some PRs forget the fact that they must stay in Canada for 3 out of the first 5 years or something may be thats what causes the case to get rejected :S

OK guys my address disappeared for THIRD time in the last one month may be because I check the status every day like a moron looking for a twisted logic in this process ...........and this is the way ecase status tries to give me a wink ......... by disapperance I mean.... a wink that says ............GOT YAAA STUPID ....... for the first two times I was having some positive thoughts that... someone might have bothered to check my file ............ but this time it could just be a system update ............. that is the only update from side .......... and yes I am Feb AOR means no AOR just application transfer


Regarding the residency of PR during the process of sponsorship .......... for sure the PR sponsoring his spouse has to live in Canada, few weeks visit is fine ............ I personally know a girl whose case was delayed by 1.5 years because the poor girl send a letter to CHC-ISB that ........ by the way I am in Pak so please process his case so we can go to Canada together ............. and next letter she got was ......... you no longer qualify to sponsor your spouse .......... and gave her right to appeal ........torn apart by a simple 30 gram letter size letter ......she returned to Canada, gave birth to a child, arranged proof of employment in Canada and finally got her husband means visa .......... I tend to refer to spouse as visa now .......... when people ask me .......... so what happened to spouse case ........ I respond as call it what happened to visa so spouse = visa ......... just a heads up
