and if u want to land in calgary rather than toronto, i.e ur POE is Calgary, then which air line is best, I have heard that u have to stay abt 22 hrs in Dubai, if u travel via Emirates, Is that true, dont u need any VISA for such a long stay in Dubai??

During transit you don't need VISA for any country, if you go out of the airport then you do...

yar koi mera masla hal ker day plz...husband ki info ottawa gaye hai na....someone on this forum told me that ye normal hai aur ottawa k head office mai info gaye hai wahan se isl walon ko ppr ka kahain gay....but yahan on forum many ppl said that my file went to ottawa coz its in the background checks again.....mjhay kuch samaj nhe aa rha...background check to ho nhe gaya ho ga ? they just wanted to verify some info in the interview...ab agar backgrd check mai file gaye hai to bohut time lagay ga....

Files go to ottawa for final approval once all processing is completed in islamabad. Otherwise, Ottawa has nothing to do with your file and your processing for matters concerning the principal applicant.

my address disappeared from e-case status.......does it mean they started to review/prepare the file for the next step (more doc's request, imm forms remed/re-pcc) etc...........if this is true, how long I should expect to recive any letter.............& does the address re-appears back on e-case.

Its ok if you didnt. I happen to know someone who sent all 187 pictures (Holy Mother of Cow) pasted on 187 A4 papers, and captions on the bottom half page. That was like my Corporate Finance Book of masters. I am sure Visa officer must have a minor heart attack looking at it.
