Well I think you shouldn't have taken the risk knowing how picky and fussy people we have in the embassy but lets hope for the best ..

Actually I didn't know. I was under the impression that everything would be done easily. I really didn't do much research on it. I figured like the years before everything will be done quick and easy and within a few months.

Don't worry. You shouldn't have written them asking for Visa as you wanted to leave with your husband. The whole rukhsati thing has changed things around. As i said in the earlier posts that now they really want the rukhsati done and see the pix before they can make a decision.

LoL my wifey only gives me a missed call and i call her back right within a minute even when i am at work

lol lucky her! Usually he always picks up his phone unless he is busy with some guests came or other work like that and sometimes i just keep calling and calling until he finally picks up LOL nice thing about it is he will always say "G farmao k gal ha" lol and I say "kuch v nahin siraf awaz sohn lia phone kithya" lol then he always will sigh and say what is biwi for ;D haha

I had that impression too and people still say to me "aray hamaray uss jannay walay ka tou 3 months mein hogya tha" ..

ohh btw I just ordered caips 2 weeks back just to know what doubts they have ! .. but luckily 2 days back I heard from the embassy through an email that my file is with the decision making officer so em just keeping my hopes high and praying that the interview gets waived and I fly to my husband within coming 2 months

ok well inshAllah you will get visa soon and even if they have the interview your caips will help you prepare...sometimes we do innocent things like that and the embassy people they take it the wrong way anyway inshAllah everything will work out for you so don't worry

Exactly! People say that even now and I have to correct them that no its not like that anymore.

lol omg I always get that too i think we all had our impressions i always would tell yes he will be here by summer 2010 now it's coming to summer 2011 Allah janay if he will be here for that or not...and then i have family members who got visa already we have the black sheep case in teh family lol

I hate when people refer to cases from 2008 that was too long ago, things are completely different from what they were to what they are now. Ask them if they know anybody that got VISA after mid 2009, and shut them up...Crazy people out there I tell you

Yeah. They don't know that things have changed drasticly in the past 2 years or so and these ppl keep running their mouth. Everyone asks my wife, how much more time it would take? I didn't even tell my wife that the timeline is 21 months now. I am still saying Inshallah it would be an year, as i don't want her to get more depressed.
