BestPlace4u. Bhai jan, you dont know yet how tough the life is in CA aur oper se ye CHC wale alug se tention dete hy.

Just this week bloody US took our whole department and centralized it with them and sherd away the jobs for every one including myself.
I was planing to visit her next month after writing exam's and now I have to cancell my plan.

There are many other things happening in the world as Allah ka azab and CHC wale aur bare loogo ki abhi be ankh nhi khol rahi ke kuch khoof kr jye. Aur qayamt ke din tu sub he ro bara ro hazir ho jye ge aur badla waise he mile ga jaisa is doniya mey kaam krte thay.

Bakki jo bichare mar gye on ki tu qayamt aa he gi aur jin ko abhi Allah ne mohlit di hoi hy wo apni he policies mey lage howe hy din raat.

no kidding..body language matters a lot... dat way they can judge whether the person is telling the truth or not...
contrary to what you said, i think IO is not a psychology scientist...they just ask questions to figure out if you really are a couple (complete knowledge about each other)...some questions could be surprising...for example he may ask "when was the last time your husband/wife sent you a gift from canada?"...off course you're supposed to remember it...simple

Wow it has been a long time since I came on this forum- I was here for a while and then I took a break lol.

Anyway my real question is that I am sponsoring my husband and we have been told that we will have an interview done. Our AOR is from September 2009 and we are still waiting for the date. I wanted to know whether background checks are usually done before or after the interview because the people I have been in contact with had background checks after but I was told my CHC-ISB that our background checks are already underway. ???

mahmed sis salam...i would reiterate that this interview is a golden chance for you guys...make your hubby prepare for this interview very well...if it goes smooth he will be getting his visa in 2-3 months after interview InshAllah :)

Application filed to Miss-25th March 2010
AOR Date-21st June 2010
Medical Expired Feb 2011
now khamoshi

wow I had to read some 18 pages. It seems today's been busy. Congrats to Maya85 and shaimaa Inshallah everything will work out. Stay strong and have faith. Inshallah everything will be resolved and you'll be with your hubby soon. *hugs*.

I have a few questions -
I checked my husband's file using the immigration file number and it shows that they started processing on June 23 2010. He received a letter stating they acknowledge getting his file in May, also dated June 23rd. So wish date should I be counting the 16 or 21 months from? I'm a little confused. I applied on March 26 2010 and it got transferred April 28th.

I haven't sent any updates since the last time CHC sent my letter asking for supplementary forms so I felt its time to send updates. As well, my file is still in queue for initial review. So I'm sure they haven't looked at my file giving me a chance to update it in hopes they don't see a reason to reject it or prolong our process. I hate the feeling that I have to "prove" my relationship with my husband that it is "genuine". When I applied I sent basic information. I didn't go beyond and add e-mails etc because I felt that was too personal for them to see but now after reading the forum I feel I should have done so. I deliberately never kept chat logs because I felt no one had the right to read what we talk about, it something that should stay between him and I.

Any ways I'm thinking of sending in this package; e-mails, phone call bills, pictures of us I saved while we cam on msn or skype every day, pictures/receipts of gifts we sent each other etc. What do I do with the e-mail? My e-mails are very personal and I'm not sure if I feel comfortable with someone reading them, plus I've sent over 1000+ I know the number is really high - I tend to send my husband a few e-mails a day because I start missing him and while I'm at work I write something up and e-mail it, or if I see something funny on the internet while I'm surfing, I share it. Any suggestions what I should do and how I should approach this?

Also, which section do I send this whole package of updated information to at the embassy?

Thanks and inshallah next week will be a good week for everyone and we'll hear good news. :D

Yes I have CAIPS, all the proof is acceptable which basically I sent from here and they have sent the inquiry to CPC-M to verify the documents which CPC-M ok'd so they accept as per CAIPS activity.

Wedding celebrated in formal tradition, parents are in the wedding, pic's and proof acceptable as per CAIPS.

Reasons for Interview as per CAIPS: 1- Sponser still is on opinion that Reception will done in Canada
2 - Sponser left to Canada after wedding.
3 - Want to test BONA FIDE relation to see if both are still searious about their relation.
4 - Sponsered did not answer in the letter that what are the plan they have made If we reject the visa.

one 2 ka 4 brother, with due respect, i remember you did not have rukhsati, walima...then how come is this a complete wedding...marriage consummation is of great significance in proving your marriage is genuine...but you flew back to canada right after Nikah (the same night)...don't get me wrong but you should've done the Rukhsati, stayed with her for few days...they're becoming harsh on "Nikah Only" cases...nowadays even the people with full blown wedding are being called for interview & put to more scrutiny (both husbands & wives)...
and i see you curse them often for not issuing your wife a visa...but for a moment think about the people who are sponsoring their spouses (with full wedding, multiple trips to Pak & large costs incurred) and have been waiting for 2-3 years...and you had Nikah only and waiting for less than a year...who is more deserving???
the best advice for you is to go back to Pak for complete wedding...then I will support you 100%...my word

Any idea after the interview has been done, how long it takes to find out their decision? I wonder if it would also make any difference if i went to the interview with my husband?

A relative of mine gave interview on 12th jan2011 and she landed in canada on 1st feb 2011..

yeah i know..it also depends on ur luck too i think.

I suggest you to order the CAIPS notes to find out what is happeing with your file and what is the reason to conduct your husband's interview....
