Hi everyone,

Has anyone tried redoing their medical and re-filling the forms themselves and sending them back to the High commission in Islamabad (as soon as the medical expires).

The way I see it, this should definitely save 2-3 months in the files as the embassy would have the new forms, the new police certificate and the new medical when they review the application next.

Does anyone of you recommend not taking this approach? (I mean whats the harm? To me it seems like an admin step in between where we are providing the same info again because it expired. Why not provide it before they ask for it?)

Are any of the forms provided for re-submission different than the original form? Is the re-medical submitted differently or does it still go through the doctor sending it himself/herself to the embassy? Are the new IMM forms any different? Is the new Police form any different?

If nothing is different or changed, shouldnt we go forward and resubmit the forms ourselves. Why shouldnt we? Looking for your feedback. Thanks a bunch folks.

They are sending different forms to different applicants. Forexample I was asked to fill Supplementary Information Form in October2010 containing four sheets. There are some people who were asked to fill family background information and many other. You never know what they require. The best thing is to wait for CHC-Isb to contact you with their requirements.

Also review the questions that were posted a few days ago by a forum memeber. There were eighty something questions and they seemed intimidating.

Hello everyone,
I have been following this forum since about a month now. I am AOR 2010 (way behind you guys) but all the information posted here has been extremely helpful. My rukhsati was in Dec 2010, after which i sent my husbands entry/exit stamps to Pakistan, our honeymoon tickets/boarding passes/ visas along with 30 pictures of the wedding functions, with a covering letter mentioning the change of address (since im now living with my inlaws). When I had received my AOR, i had been asked to fill out supplementary forms with it, which basically had all the travel history for each of my family member. My medical expires in june, and police record already expired last month.

So basically, I shouldnt be expecting anything till June/July this year right? (till my medical expires?) although it has just been a month since my husband returned to Canada, living here without ones husband is so difficult:( Im surprised how all of you have been so patient and still are mashAllah.

And for all those who received their PPR's, bohot bohot mubarak:) It brought a smile to my face when i read the happy comments, and im genuinely happy for each one of you...which finally made me join this forum and actually take part in this discussion :d

Basically they do it on purpose to buy some time. For example:

My wife's case started in March2010, her Medicals expired Jan2011. Now in February she just received a letter requesting updated PCC and all the forms again. Even though her medicals have expired, they havn't requested it. We have been given 45 days to send everything required. Basically they have put a bring forward date on the file to be opened after 45 day which will be in April and when they open her file, it will have the information requested but now they will send the re medical request and put another Bring Forward date of 45 day to buy some more time. Its all internal game and they do it on purpose so they get more time to process the applications.
