Congrat aQsa.
you are really lucky. I am still waiting for my wife's passport to be stamped with visa. CHC-ISB received her passport on 12th Dec. at 10.20 am. Hoping it get stamped before christmas holidays. Allah SWT will help us in this trying time for sure Insha Allah.
Total time 26 months and 4 days sofar.

Thanks,

Waqarcan

thats so great, but why did it take so long 26 months???? wow! My cousins wife recieved her passport stamped a week ago and her total process was no longer then 19 months... just curious

becuz all the chc officers are busy in chritmas and they dnt wanna work on these days

Rackeya Thanks.
I don't know why it took so long. 26 months plus is really a pretty long wait. Nevertheless, I don't have any complaint. Hoping that visa is stamped ASAP before christmas so that my wife can be in Canada before new year.

Assalam alaykum everyone,

I just want to give some updates on my case and need help as to what this whole mess means..

My PPR came on 18th of October 2011, along with the request of RPRF. My husband had already paid it last July and so we were confused as to why CHC requested for it again. Anyhow, I faxed the receipt again and mailed my PP on 19th of October 2011.And then the truly torturous wait began...

About three weeks ago, my husband mailed the MP to know what's taking so long and why isn't there any news coming. Well, he replied that your file is complete except for the RPRF. CHC has sent the receipt for verification to CIC and the officer is verifying it. Hopefully, you'll be hearing good news shortly.

Between these three weeks, I emailed CHC twice but they didn't respond. So, two days ago my husband emailed his MP again that now three more weeks have passed (since his last email) but no news! He replied that CIC have still not sent the confirmation of RPRF to CHC! My husband then called CIC and guess what???
He came to know from them that the confirmation of fee has already been sent to CHC on 8th of November!!!!

I really don't understand what's going on? Can anyone tell me what's this all about? =(

No confirmation that you ordered them. Just have to wait. It can take up to six weeks for them to respond. They have a number listed on the CIC website but they don't even answer there phone anymore. I ordered for my husband on Dec 2 still waiting:-(
