2. micmac101 (Well they asked many questions about our relationship. How long have we known each other,when did we get married. One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)

My husband case was not in que for interview because it was security interview I think that does not need que they just call you for it....My husband said it was the most hardest interview ever...He was asked many many political questions, views on war questions, case specific questions, marriage related questions, mostly security related though....They watch every single answer you give, your reaction, your response, your facial expressions, your answers and they write every single thing you answer. The key is to be confident, aware of questions and aware of your answers, keep good eye contact that is all and lots of lots of duas off course.

Seriously.......It has been 3 months they are running background checks. WTF!!!!

Last month status changed to "in Process" and that is it. Still have not heard anything.....

Dear My Time line same as yours Me received remedial, police report and updated information in the end of Feb and my status still does not change anything dont know what they are doing....

Atleast your status is in process hopefully you will received ppr soon.

Got reply from my MP office. Brief summary of the email is...

CHC-ISB told him that my / wife's file is ok. Nothing unusual. Medical valid and Background checks underway. The file will be completed before Feb 2013, which is average processing time. Asked him (MP office) to check back in 3 months. (&%*&%^%*^% thats December! / 25months).

So in conclusion, if i don't see overall progress of other cases around my timeline by mid-october, I am visiting my wife in October / November.

I have yet to respond to him. Nothing much i can say besides Thank you. Unless i can provide proof that cases of 2011/2012 are getting done faster, i can't do much but wait like the rest of us.

May Allah grant us the strength of the continued wait....

Well thats the only option we have to go back home and stay some time with our spouses.your is wife but mine is husb case and trasfer in dec and remed in may after that no news.i ordered gcms note to see the progress but i am sure nothing much would be in it.i am also planning to go to pak in dec to see my husb.

I ordered GCMS notes early sep...still waiting. I don't have any vacations left to go back to Pakistan. Our 2nd wedding anniversary is coming soon but no more vacations for the rest of the year. My husband and I are going thru severe depression. My family doctor has also written a medical note for me which I sent to embassy 3 months ago but it didn't help. Oh God....pls help all of us, We really NEED ur help. :'(
