Sawera,

you can have your pakistani passport renewed from any pakistani consulate urgently within five days. Do not go for NICOP, that is going to take long time. From next year Governemnt of Pakistan will set up a NADRA office in Ottawa Canada for overseas Pakistan, that will speed up things like NICOP and stuff.a normal passport renewal does not take more than two weeks, I am in Toronto; so I am speaking from that perspective.

HI ALL,

During interview the IO (immigration officer) must be accompanied by a urdu translator for cases in CHC -ISB. These immigration officer are all Goras, they are hired through PSC(public service Canada) in Canada and trained in Canada too. afterwards they are send to different high commissions and embassies for posting. The High Comission in countries like say Pakistan will hire PA or assistant for these IO in that country. Even the phone calls we do receive sometime from CHC ISB are all done by IO's PA or assistant.

Jee haan bilkul Pakistan ka VISA lena parey ga and for that you will have to again send your passport to the pakistan embassy in Vancouver. They do the VISA processing in Vancouver so that process is about 2 weeks.Bhai High commission was here in Edmonton Oct 5 u must have done tht tym ......I renew my Passport they return me back after 2 weeks.

There is no Desi (Visa of officer) in CHC-ISB now a days. A few years back, there were some and they were found involved in selling Immigation Visas to others, at that time the CHC( i mean immigration section) was closed for some time and they changed the entire stuff in immigration section of the Embassy. Since then there were no desis in CHC ISB working as VO or IO.

Do they issue visa to Pakistani citizens ........... coz i am pakistani citizen too ................i was thinking that citizens are never eligible for a visa ..........

Bhai they come after every 3 months so now may b in jan they'll b in Edmonton ..... U can call n ask them or leave a message they'll reply u ..... If u have ur old passport is better for u too renew it for $45 it will b good for 5 years...... Or if u need visa on ur Canadian passport it will cost $200 multiple visa for a year.....NICOP cost $40 n it's good for 10years.

What are u talking about dude .............. the letter that I got is signed by pen and it has initials MFQ............ that canot be Mario Frank and Q se to koi gore ka nam banta he nahi ha ........... and my letter says ...........

Thanks sis I will check with them coz now my wife says she had istakhara done and safar ke month mai rookstai is not good ............ oh man wot am i into ............... i think i should check if they are coming to Edmonton i should get it renewed and go in feb for marriage .........
