i m sponsor and only had nikkha, planning to send some documents voluntary but not too much.
can sponsor send the doc or only the applicant?

i know nikkah only case get the objection, but my spouse family don't want rukhsati until all processing done. anyone can help i m frm khi.

tell you spouse's family that they have no option but to let the rukhsati done .......... and make sure you do it before they open your file for the first time .......... otherwise they had my friend do rusksati with their baby in mother's lap ......... and either of you can send the documents voluntarily ........... rest assure nothing matters unless ruksati is done .......... this is written in stone and they have established that in pakistani culture a marraige is not considered to have consummated until Rukhsati........... good luck with susral.............. as a sponsor we have two susral ............. one is CHC-ISB and second happens to be biological friends of wife

Try to convince the family bro if you don't want to see problems in the future. As for documents, either of you can send it anytime as long as you put the file number in the cover letter where those documents are supposed to go.

I agree you have to get the Rukhsati done. Check your PM.

you can kill the book instead of directing such thoughts to your ownself ......... its called reading ............... a book read is like a dead book since you already know what is in it and now its no better than a piece of stone, lying there as a dead body ........ see how you can re-direct your otherwise harmful tendencies to a productive usage ........... and yes you can say thank you to me for brining light to the dark ideas "killing" stated before

Can someone please tell me what rukhsati is? I stay in Hyderabad, India, and havent really seen many of those. Yes we do have cases where the nikah is done and after some time (could be months or years) the valima takes place. Does rukhsati mean the valima? Or maybe we have a different name here for it. Just curious. Thanks!

Ruskhati mean bahrat the day your go to your husband home so that is bahrat and some calls it Ruskhati and walima come after bahrat mean ruskhati

No wonder the VOs want a rukhsati! Because a marriage is just not complete without the valima...I kinda guessed it had to do with living with your in-laws, but wondered what the big deal about it was anyway...
