Believe me some times I find it so helpful cus my case is in process since August 2009 and I always get answer- file is in queue for interview.sumbimited docs such as pcc-imm form +picture after wedding and phone bills in may.2011. I order CAIPS on August 08.and yesterday got reply they extended to 60 days. I do not know why everything is taking so long for me.

I have question please answer asap.if I get immigration notes with CAIPS,is this going to have any impact on my immigration file. Please help.

Its anywehre from 45 days to 2+ years. My wife lived at one place since birth, no travel history, no work history and it took approximately 6 months after the initial review for the whole process to finish. We have seen a few cases that even if the file is in queue for Decision Making Officer, it can go back in queue for Background checks as it happened to maximus, saggit, and khan's husband, we also know that saifsmarty's file was in background checks for more than 2 years; so it really depends on the case and the officer handling your file to make that call. There is no set time frame for background/security checks...

They asked for FBI clearence correct? If that is the case, they would be doing background checks otherwise why would they ask for FBI clearence?

Did you submit FBI clearence initially with the application? If you did that already, they were wrong to ask you to re-send it as you have submitted it already unless your husband went back to US for more than 6 months. They bought time to delay your case on purpose. I really hope your hubby gets his PPR soon as you have been waiting for quite long.

Congratts ayeshaa for your remedical request. You will have your ppr in 1-3 months after u submit your remedical.. Goodluck and pray for us..
