Hi folks,

Quick update, my wife got the passport back today with the immigration visa stamped. The timeline is below. We wish you all the very best with your cases.

March 1, 2010 - App submitted in Canada (March 1, 2010),
May 2010 - AOR (CIC Islamabad contacted my wife in Pakistan to confirm the receipt of application)
May 2011 - CIC asked my wife to re-submit a new police certificate and updated versions of the original immigration forms
June 15, 2011 - CIC requested a re-medical to be submitted
August 19, 2011 - Received PPR (passport request)
September 5, 2011 - Passport received with immigration visa

I need help!

I have submitted re-medical & re-PCC on May 30th and CHC Islamabad received everything on June 22, 2011. I received an email that my husband case is with immigration office for review and background checks are in progress, what does that mean? How many more months? Here is my timelines, Please help= Wes bhai and others...Please help.

June 30th 2009- Applied Immigration.

Aug 12th 2009- File transferred to CHC Islamabad,

Sep 14th, 2009- AOR received,

June 30th 2011- Remedical & re-Pcc submitted.

Waiting for PRR????? Not sure... I am exhausted.

I would say order CAIPS ................. and by the way did you have a marriage with all function in particular rukhsati and any voluntary proof of ongoing relationship sent to them after your remedical since that alone could be reason for review by immigration officer as much as I understand

Yes, I have sent them thousands of comwave pages of my telephone bills, my vacation tickets, hotel bills, since I met my husband twice after marriage. In dubai and in india, also everything has been mailed to them. They have received all proper documents. I talk to my husband 5-6 times a day and all the bills have been mailed to CHC Islamabad. The average telephone bills are approx 900-1000 dollars a month. Since I wanted to keep all the telephone logs, I signed up with Comwave. I recently took a trip to Dubai and send them all pictures as well. They have my marriage certificate and all documents. So far, there was no objection letter ever sent by them. By the grace of God, the case has been smooth but taking too long.

What could be the next step? Would CAIP tell me more info?
