Hi Mariah,
Thanks for sharing your experience. Can you please also share your timeline. The exact dates if possible for the PCC and supplementary forms and when your husband got his re-med and PPR?
I was also asked to submit PCC and supp forms in February. I mailed them back in March and now waiting for re-med and PPR hopefully together. Inshallah. It's been two months since they received them but in the last email correspondence they asked for the complete courier details. Since then no reply from them. I hope they have the documents I mailed. Please share the dates, thanks.

It varies! My wife also sent rePCC and IMM forms beginning of march and nothing after that....

Well for them going back and visiting your spouse just strengthens your case. Although since you went there and got married inshAllah the relationship will already be considered genuine INSHALLAH. You are right that it is costly but that is something we have to deal with when we marry abroad. I don't know why your parents would say that since you are married and so they shouldn't be stopping you but if they are then just wait until about December you might hear something by then. I think you said you are December 2010 AOR so that will be a year.

Islamabad is taking long for many reasons some of which are: volume of applications, not enough staff to handle it, political relations of Pakistan/Canada right now, reduction of spouse visa quota for Pakistani spouses...etc.

Right now your file is probably just lying around collecting dust just like all of ours did and still are doing...unfortunately we can't make them speed up all we can do is dua to make this process go by as fast as possible and as pain free as possible also.

First i have to thank you, for da comment. Yes Tashakor to Allah'Tala i am married, and off course my case is geniune also he is related to me (cousin).I am waitin patiently but sometimes u cant help urself, every night im like a baby i cry until i fall asleep. I emailed them n ask how far is ma case in progress, they said my case is in process in que for initial review.
