hey guys, i am married to a canadian.i want to visit my hubby there in canada, can i apply for visit visa???

Yes, you can, but the chances of being approved are pretty low because the visa officer thinks that the applicant won't return at the end of their visa. I think it's mostly an excuse, since staying past your visa would jeopardize your PR application.

My wife applied for a visa in Amman today after we have waited 15 months for PR. I think the chances are low, but it may be granted since they are hardly processing anything, and the request was just for a month.

The worst that happens if you apply and get rejected is you lose the time and money spent. One or two rejected visa applications won't hurt your PR application at all.

All the best.

If you have a file number already for your PR application you might have a chance... and some ties in your home country. But otherwise it won't work... I know my husband tried twice in december to come and see me as I was having our first baby but he only got denied!

Good luck!

Thanks JayJ and canwifesponsor. we will first file our case and then may be we will go for visit visa....

I know someone, a Filipina married to a Canadian, who was approved for a visitor's visa. She has no intention of living in Canada.

Hi.. Did you have to include the birth certificate or passport or citizenship certificate of your newborn baby in your application to sponsor your spouse back then?
