Thank you sabrinkh for your advice i hope that ours be smoothly and fast like yours we sent a lot of pictures but i think that our case is different we are living together in cairo with our boys for 10 years this about our relation and we sent the police report and meds .
Pray for us i hope to enroll our boys in a canadian schools the next year.

Well yes you are married with kids thats defintely a better sign and higher chances of approval. Inshallah it will go smooth. You been in egypt 10 years? U are canadian citizen though right? Also you are still in the beginning of your application if it has not been processed yet so just keep checking your e-cas and inshallah things will progress before you know it!

Congratulations!! May you share with me the day the embasy receied your passport? How long exactly did they have it? I remember you saying your huband was coming to egypt to mail it from there so i assume it wasnt delivered the same day it was requested? I am in egypt with my husband and i want to fly back to canada with him. They have his passport as of yesterday so i just want to estimate approxmiately how long it could take to get it back so we can book our flights!

Our passport was received at the embassy on January 21st and we received the email to pick it up today February 3rd. How nice that you can fly to Canada with your husband! I hope you receive your passport back soon!! May I ask where you will be landing?

Our passport was received at the embassy on January 21st and we received the email to pick it up today February 3rd. How nice that you can fly to Canada with your husband! I hope you receive your passport back soon!! May I ask where you will be landing?

Im so happy for u too and im so excited for u to see ur husband! Yes i couldnt bare the idea if waiting around in canada because i was missin him so much so i came to hang out with him and his family until the process was over! We will be landing in Toronto pearson airport! I was born and raised there and im so exited for my husband to experience canada and all the wonderful opportunitys it presents! Our husbands should b so lucky they are leaving egypt at a good time things have been awful here lately!

Anyway i have to be more patient

I'm not from Egypt and so it hasn't been fast at all, they started the security check in end of October and it's still not done and they don't tell you when it will be done. But i'm hopeful that they will request the passport soon, inshallah.
