then i combined explanation letter, work permit scan copy and aor email pdf - all into one pdf.

I applied online August 31 and got approval on November 27.

Man you are the only exception who got BOWP so fast. Any other people got BOWPs. When I submitted my application in September 6th processing time was around 110 days. Any how congrats.

Applied on the same day (Aug 27) online, got BOWP & SOWP approved November 13th (and got it in mail on 17th)

MyCIC was updated first, and then a day later an email came through saying my BOWP was approved.

Another question regarding BOWP application! Because you guys seem to have all the answers

On the section in the application form that asks current status in Canada, then asks for FROM and TO dates, I originally came to Canada in March 2012 as a worker and I've been here almost 4 years now. However, I was on visitor status for a few weeks while waiting for a new permit to get approved. Should I put my original date or the date that I have consistently been working since without interruption? Which would be May 2013.

Thing is I think I put March 2012 in my CEC application. Don't want them to be inconsistent but not sure what to do..??

Is it likely to be an issue to the officer?

This is my situation...

I applied for BOWP and got response from CIC today that my application was refused. (Exactly 10 days before my current work permit expires)
Does anybody know if it is possible to go to the nearest border and reapply for restoration of status.


Based on the letter that i received from CIC

"You have failed to meet the eligibility requirements for a bridging open Work Permit because
you have not provided the letter from the province indicating if your employment is restricted or
not for the Provincial Nominee Program. "

I forgot to include the work permit support letter that i got from my SINP nomination.

My PR application is already in process and i am just waiting for the passport request.
I am just worried because i cannot afford to stop working while waiting for my PR.

Any advise will be very much appreciated.

Do i need to pay the restoration or not anymore since my permit is still valid for 10 days if i submit it tomorrow or do you think its best to go to the border for immediate processing?
