Hello guys

I have applied for my BWOP online with my PNP certificate.

When I applied I was waiting for my AOR.

Now that I have got my AOR can I update my online application.

Will it get rejected because I haven't attached my AOR.
or the CIC officer can check my status in their system using my UCI.

What should I do now?
should I cancel my application and apply again or just wait?

Actually, I dont. I just guess according to most of the applicants before me haven't start the eligiblity check.. I dont think I am the lucky one..

You would have already received positive eligibility assessment. You can call CIC and check that. Otherwise they would not have give you the BOWP.

Hi ,

I have received my AOR after I applied online.

SO I am eligible for BOWP...

The only thing is that I couldn't include it in my online application as I was waiting for that.

I applied online on 25th October and got AOR email on 6th November.

what should I do now?

I am not express entry candidate.

I have applied my PR based on paper application..

You can try and submit it through case specific inquiry. There is no guarantee that it will be mapped to your file but this is what CIC call centre agents are going to tell you.

Also make sure that you have positive eligibility assessment set to passed for you to become eligible for BOWP.

It is a requirement that you have received an AOR AND have positive eligibility assessment.

Just to save waiting time, lots of guys do like this.

I also did last time & applied for BOWP without my AOR, by the time (waiting period was 100+ days that time) my application processed AOR came in between.

Technically we don't need to attach AOR since it doesn't give any option other than supporting doc.

I got it successfully last time.

CIC can check online your status, hope you get a good officer. Best of luck.

Not true, I was asked to attach it before they approved my 2nd BOWP this year. Last year I didn't attach it and it was approved. I believe the new rules state you must attach it, you can add it to the additional document that you upload.

Thanks guys for your feedback...

What does positive eligibility assessment mean?

How do I verify in my case.

I have only received email from CIO Sydney with my EP file number ....means the AOR email...mentioning that my file is accepted and complete under PNP category and its under process...

Please advise....

Thank u

Hello Friends,

I called cic today regarding my case...

The call center agent has added note to my work permit application that I have received AOR.

He also told me that the officer who will work on your file may contact you for more documents o he can check your application status through your client ID and process your application...

I have also filled up case specific inquiry form online and added my AOR email as an attachment.

fingers crossed...Hoping for the best...

Thanks all of you for your quick positive responses...

You should have asked the agent about the eligibility assessment as well. They should tell you.

check this link...
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp

When u apply through paper application a cic agent first checks your file , all docs and makes decision that you are eligible for that particular category or no...then if you are then they process your application fees and generate file number.....Means once you get AOR email that means your eligibility assessment is done.
That's how the paper applications are processed....

For express entry it works in a different way...
When u apply online you get e-AOR that means your file is submitted and a file number is created.

But after that the CIC agent will look into your file and check all the uploaded docs and based on that he makes decision that you are eligible for particular category or no.
That is eligibility assessment...that should say passed in your express entry account....

The link I have mentioned above says the same thing....

this statements are mentioned in my AOR.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Provincial Nominee Class.
Upon review of the information you have provided, your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).

that confirms the application has passed R10 completeness.

I think it may answer the positive eligibility assessment question.

Thanks

For Paper based PR Applications, NO it does not fulfill positive eligibility assessment requirement. It fulfills receipt of AOR requirement. Please read the requirements for BOWP here
