We never received a notification from Ottawa about the transfer of the file. I called the CIC phone and the agent told me about the transfer.

GCMS is the way to go to find details about file transfer..

Just to report a PPR news I heard from my friends.
I don't know the timeline, but I have heard its around March applicant / meds on Sept.
my data don't go further!

Oh Sharuu.. I don't want to step on T.S. Eliot who said: I will show you fear, in a handful of dust.
But its just a bit out of control for now.

Predictions were the only job we could do.
It turn out that it does not work anymore!

Lets hope the journey (This very journey) ends soon and safe! :)

End of September (29.09.2012) i ordered another GCMS... it arrived tonight after only 24days.... (the first GCMS took 34days)

didn't know i will receive PPR on 4th October...

anyway...so far nothing much has changed, have to read further tomorrow...except the due date was changed to (from 26.July 2012) 4th November 2012.... and....in the notes is written that they've sent me the RFV Letter...so...RFV really seems to mean Ready For Visa....

Its so random, must be a may transfer! Hows life in Montreal?

Is it just me or does the destination actually seem very near yet so far?

Hi All,

Wondering if someone applied in PNP Ontario Int'l Master stream here ?
It seems that this particular stream has random PRs. Some people got there PR from Buffalo within 10 months and some are still waiting for more than 19 months.
The PNP program was supposed to be 14-15 months or less.
Any idea what's going on with PNP applicants ?

My time line:
Application Filed: May-2011 to Buffalo
AOR: Sep-2011
Medical: Sep-2011
File Transfe to Ottawa: 7th July 2012
Awaiting ...
Good to know there is someone else who applied in PNP Ontario Int'l Master stream...

Don't worry there are loads of them. I applied in the same PNP program as well and I know atleast 6 others, one of them already received his PR card even though he applied 6 months after me :)

Guys, I have recently renewed my passport. Can I scan and email it to CPP-O or should I mail them the hard copy?

I wanted to explain one more thing about processing of the transferred application from Buffalo to CPP-O. Once your file reaches CPP-O, it will enter their queue list according to your "lock-in" date of your application. This means that if you filed your application in Buffalo in Jan. 2010 and your file has been transferred to CPP-O in May 2012, then your application would enter the CPP-O queue as of Jan. 2010. (Source: CIC website)

Life goes on guys, whether you get your ppr today or not ... so why not enjoying it ;)

Hi gowest, thanks for your nice post. Could you pls attach the link, so we can read the article. Also I have renewed my passport. Not sure if I should inform them or rather wait 2 more months to avoid any delays on my file. thanks

I renewed my passport in Aug this year. I sent them a scanned copy by email. The acknowledgement email came after nearly a month. My GCMS notes is also updated with my new passport details.

I applied under Pilot International Masters stream as well. In my GCMS notes, CIC has put 'Skilled Worker' as my stream under PNC information. Although it is no deal breaker, just curious to know if others have a different stream mentioned.

I dont agree with you on this .It doesnt say anywhere that file goes in queue according to the lock-in date.........See the link below. Check section 5.24

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op01-eng.pdf

Lets be honest nobody knows the procedure. And this point only god knows when we will get our PPRs.
Some of us have been lucky to get their PPRs early but most of us have suffered due to CPP-O incompetence.

ciao!!!!
