Is the RCMP check customary? I have not been called on for such checks thus far. I guess it would only delay things further if they require me to undergo these checks.
It seems quite unlikely that anything will be done about the early and middle of 2011 applications in the remainder of 2012. I hope however that your case is treated soon.
no the RCMP check is not customary, they pick a few randomly, just unlucky I guess. yeah looks like it has pushed things really far ahead for me sighh..

i am hoping to hear someone with my timeline that went through an RCMP check hear from Ottawa , that would give me some hope.

Can you please tell me some of the English speaking neighborhoods in Montreal. My french is very poor. Thanks
The West Islands are very dominantly anglo, as are most of the areas surrounding McGill. I volunteer at a animal Hospital on Sherbrooke Ouest and everyone there speaks English.

I will warn you though, if you live in Montreal you should attempt to learn french. There are amzing french courses offered to immigrants for free.
