BUFFALO APPLICANTS - File transferred to other VO due to Buffalo closing down

How do you know if your file is transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa? I mean does CPP-Ottawa send an email to the applicant.

We never received a notification from Ottawa about the transfer of the file. I called the CIC phone and the agent told me about the transfer.

When did u send your passport in mail. And which VO did you send the
passports to.

I sent my passport on 4 Sep, it took 50days to get it back, sent it to Detroit.

Seems like even if I get PPR tomorrow I am going to become PR next year.
Plus additional 2 months for PR cards
Oh god I don't know when this nightmare going to end.
Secondary VO assigned to me is Detroit.
CPP-O should stop laying eggs and better start doing some work. :-\

PPR is the final step....that's what's worth waiting for....even if it takes another 4weeks after ppr...

It seems that this particular stream has random PRs. Some people got there PR from Buffalo within 10 months and some are still waiting for more than 19 months.
The PNP program was supposed to be 14-15 months or less.
Any idea what's going on with PNP applicants ?

My time line:
Application Filed: May-2011 to Buffalo
AOR: Sep-2011
Medical: Sep-2011
File Transfe to Ottawa: 7th July 2012

I'm under the masters stream too, it's been 18 months and still waiting.

OK, how long does it take to get GCMS notes? When I applied for my first GCMS, I did it with the access to information act, paying $5. I got that exactly 30 days later. For my second GCMS, the website was down, couldn't pay the fee so I applied under the privacy act, without paying anything. It's been 6 weeks now, and am yet to get my notes ! Didn't realize only $5 would make such a big difference !

Are you in Canada? I have never paid to get GCMS!

Yep, I'm in Canada...living in Ontario the last 4 years. The first time I wasn't sure which one to check, the access to information act or the privacy act. I checked the access to information act and paid $5 processing fee (It's mentioned on the first page of GCMS form that if you request under this act, you would have to pay either by credit card or money order). If you request under privacy act, you won't have to pay anything.
