I dont think we need to re do medicals. Its in the bulletin whereby if the only thing pending your PPR is medical expiration then medicals can be extended for 3 more months. I have seen 2 applicants who got them extended. I believe at a point all of 2011 applicants will have their medical expired. Ottawa will not ask all of us to re do our medicals. I would suggest not to worry about this. If you are looking at requesting GCMS anytime soon and a VO has looked at your case, it should be under Notes - I believe.

Redoing medical will lead to extra processing time, I don't think this would be applicable to us. Extension is more reasonable. Redoing medical and let Ottawa know about this is a bad idea.

Not sure what they are really doing. Just hope it is not a matter of 1/2 year.

Better to be hopefull than disappointed. Forget it. I quess it is more like a wheel of furtune than a systematic process. you lucky, and you get soon. and if there is no luck, then your might be lost in Limbo...

Guys do you all send gcms application by mail? or emailing the scan copy is a better option. It has been about a month since I sent my gcms notes by mail.. just wondering?

whats going on with CIC lately...I heard they are reducing the officers and staff overall...showing that in work now.... :-X

the due date is set as this months 20th...

Suduko got his medical request in few months. He/She is QSW. Have you contacted the MP?

Have you checked with the time frame in your nomination stream? If most people already got the medical than you should contact the MP. Sorry don't want to hurt you, some stream has longer waiting period. Usually CEC/PNP is faster, but FSW could be very lengthy process. Not sure about QSW.

I already contacted MP and today only I got reply from them that Ottawa said they have not assigned any officer yet to my file.
the standard reply...and also said I may get some news may be around next year july

i thought QSW is suppose to be fast and easy...but looks like it is not

I think its faster, look at Suduko's timeline. Next year July ???. Your medical is in progress, so they know you have been waiting long. I wonder why they are still keeping you waiting. Are you subscribed to any QSW thread? The members may have good knowledge and can give you some guideline.
