-How did you get the AOR?

I did not get any AOR. I sent them a mail after 34 ( 2012-Jan ) weeks of my applicaiton date then they replied with number and said I do not have any thing to at that time.

but notes says at on 2011-11-01 they sent AOR and Medicals....

so first check back your email in that period in 2011 ( but maybe it is too late for it , if it came in junk mail .......)
you should ask them to send another email for medical request

or see with any doctor ( cic ) to do the medical at his sclinic even without the letter ( just give him you file number and client ID) '' may it will work''

it was probably an email sent to you and blocked in your junk mail , or your email in the application is not correct

it was probably an email sent to you and blocked in your junk mail , or your email in the application is not correct

their mail gone into SPAM folder .this could have happened, I in general check spam folder every day and delete them
but question is after Nov 2011-11 I sent many mails to them requesting for my application number (AOR) and update.
those guys should have at least verified my file and should have told me that I need to do Medicals...they told me I do not have to do anything at that time..

and my email is correct in the notes. so there is no chance that it has gone to wrong address.

I sent them a mail and see if I do not get any answer I will check with doctors to do a medical and sent the same to Ottawa...

u worry too much, ignore the medicals they will extend them for u, it's their fault. medical doesn't come cheap so they better for it if they as for second ones

I totally agree, they just can't come up with something. Its their fault, Buffalo haven't done any work for the last seven months, except taking the salaries. We are not supposed to be paying for their negligence.

Nop...its been one month. I will give him a call tomorrow (as Shaikhaffi did today). I will ask for another GCMS on next Tuesday.

Hello Folks,

I received my GCMS notes today, and following are the differences between this GCMS and first GCMS:

1. They have started security clearance, however it looks like they are only doing security clearance of my wife, under security screening section (under my wife's security section) it says the security screening type: Record Check Anyone have idea what does that mean?

2. The recent note says the medical likely to be extended.
3. It says application category type: PV2 what does that mean?
4. Group Name still says PR - Waiver, i have no idea what does that mean.
5. Its weird back in March, i submitted the address change form however they only updated my address but my wife's address under GCMS is still old. So folks please clarify in cover letter that your wife is moving with you when you submit change address form.

One more thing, they started working on my fine on July 9th 2012, however the file was transferred to Ottawa on May 16th 2012.

I think with the group name, it seems a visa officer might be assigned to your case. All in all its a good sign, that your case is moving forward. Where do you see the July 9th date? What is the secondary VO and due date?

Received our passport requests today from CPP-Ottawa, for submission to Detroit, 18 months since applying to the (now closed) visa office in Buffalo .

Better late than never though, eh?

Best of luck to the rest of the pre-August 2011 Buffalo applicants still waiting, I hope this is the start of a load of PPRs being issued!

"I've sent an e-mail to Minister Kenny's department highlighting how unfair it is that early 2011 applicants to Buffalo are being kept waiting by Ottawa whilst new applicants to there sail through. Hopefully it won't fall on deaf ears.

Maybe other people in the same boat could do the same, in order to give our position some weight.

If i were u, i will quickly print out the medical forms online and go do the medicals on ur own rather, than waiting on them to send u a request. From the look of things, something has gone wrong with ur medicals. U have a file number already right? Print the form, take to dr and put ur file number. There are so many people who have done medicals ahead even without file number and still get PR.

Hi I will be doing that soon. even if I had done my medicals last year it would expire by this time. I sent them a mail and If I do not get any reply probably I will do the medicals and inform to Ottawa office.

I see the july 9th, 2012 in updated date field in security section and in also most recent note. No secondary VO, the primary VO is CPP Ottawa. I will again look and let you know.Visa Officer is for sure assigned thats why they sent file for additional background check in July 9th. I have also conformed through MP, the last updated date on my file is August 9th, 2012. That means they are looking at the case every month to see if there is been any update on the file. Unfortunately the due dates are still old on GCMS and i don't know about the due dates in Security section coz its hidden.
