September - 1 week done, No PPR :(

I think it would be soon, they are assigning secondary VOs to the May transferred files (2 cases reported in this forum). So it takes about 3/4 months after the transfer, may be you have to wait one more month. Problem is the long wait, if we are like 2012 applicants I would not mind waiting 4 more months. So many things have changed and life is getting very difficult. Hope we all get it soon. Meantime these posts (something new is happening / positive changes) keep our hopes floating.

Its too early in the day to say that. You have to check your emails atleast another 15 times today before concluding that no pprs came during the first week of sept. :). To be honest... I don't expect a ppr today :P

when I applied last year, the usual was to expect a letter by snail mail......I think the excitement of checking the mail at home every evening is much more than refreshing email page. :D

As far as I know, nowadays, there is no difference between QSW and FSW or PN in the Federal part.
The first step is to get the money, and then by time, they will ask for medicals.
Then you go into long waiting like anyone, and there is a time, when they reach your file, they see there are documents missing, and they ask for them.

Overall process for the March 2011 Applicants has been the same (very much the same actually).
the timeline is about 17 months by now (just the federal part). from the beginning, we have been waiting for at least 2 full years.

But lets hope we hear some good news mid Sept or around the 1 year period from the Medicals.
If my guesses are right, dozens of us will hear something in a single day, or week.
They should have organized the transfered files and once all is done, they are re-distributed to other VOs.

Wish you all the best meantime

What a journey, eh? Actually, even though I know it wont be long but this wait is just never ending it seems sometimes. I hope when everyone gets PPR, people will keep this thread alive. Keep coming in give advices to the new applicants and share their experiences :)
