ahhh....nice to know....my secondary vo is detroit as well... :)

When were your notes printed off and file transferred? I hope we start looking at a few PPRs now!

notes were printed 12th July...transferred? need to check....

Under Application Assignment, do you have a due date and in the first page is there a section Group Name? If so, what is in front of it?

Yes I guess that's putting you one step ahead towards getting PPR. Could you pls tell us when your file moved to Ottawa.

Group name and number are blank,

Application assignment due date 26/7/2012 (the date where "Current Residential Address" showed up on Ecas) that was the last thing something happened on my Ecas Status....

the first date from everything, from first page, is 2nd May, the 3rd May i got the AOR Email with Meds.
My paper file location is Ottawa.

After all this waiting ................. I dont know how long it will be

if sharuu is checking his email 20 times a day , for me it is my normal day not a day in which I wait something like PPR
hope this will have happy end and very soon for all of us

I think that 26th July was the old due date, hopefully, someone will review your case soon and issue PPR. When did you apply for PR? Are you requesting GCMS or contacting MP anytime soon?

There is nothing else we can do than wait buddy. We had a few of us who got PPR a couple of weeks back, its quiet once again :( The one thing is that most of us got transferred on the same day - July 7th. So, it cant be that they would be processing all files in the same order. With that unknwn even if he are to assume that October 7th should be a good enough date, it is still a guess. I wonder if they are going to process with App filed or Aor date or any other criteria?

These infos are from my GCMS, i do not request another one. i don't know if they add this to my file, how many times i'm asking for it, and constantly "contacting" them isn't good either...they might get suspicious why i'm so impatient....
i requested it once, just to know what they are doing right now and where my file is...etc...thats it for me...i would have to pay another time 30$ for that...and possibly nothing has changed with the lottery system they have with processing apps. i applied 28th october 2011.

you could apply for it for free
just check the privacy act ( not the access to information act)
sign it and scan it and email it, and just wait another 4-5 weeks

Unless you are not in Canada..

thx, but it'll be fine. :)

p.s. i'm in montreal

I do agree with lepatissier07.

I think there is no point in getting too many notes, or emails. they don't even read the emails in 90% of the cases.

I think they have been looking into files in the same order they were in Buffalo. and I believe this is done in Batches.
A group of applicants, in a period of time, are all called, emailed, informed about what they have to do. Once done, next Batch...
It is not like other work or study permit.

Me and my other friends (similar cases), who applied between Mar 2011 to Apr 2011, all got AOR on 22nd of Sep 2011.
and since then, no one has heard any good news.

It was around June 2012 that Buffalo asked one of my friends to submit police records.but since then, silence!
It was still open.

Hi Guys
I have a question to QSW or other applicants who applied in 2011.

how many of you filled the form "Supplementary Information – Travel List (IMM 5562)"
when I downloaded the application package, I never saw that. Now I see this is included in the list.

Sharuu any idea of this form?

Sye

this particular form i haven't had/haven't seen in the application package i have sent last year. But, i had to give the same kind of information, just called "Personal History", in my application package. That list seemed to be included in the main application, if you have a look at the date top right, its from 05/2004... i found many different "Checklist" on the net...i choose one which came "the closest" to my understanding and my case...and so far, they seem happy. :)
