I don't think you're stuck because of IELTS, I might be wrong. I think if your English skill is sufficient, you'll not be bothered, especially with your FSW2. As long as you have a job offer, paying them tax you will be fine ;). I did submit my GRE (expired last years I think) and GMAT I took few years back together with the declaration. I'm so lucky then....

no updates.. disappointment... Buffalo became buffaslow again!!!

Monday, 6th September was the Labour Day holiday in Canada and the Labor Day holiday in the U.S. Generally, this is considered the last weekend of summer in North America, so many officers may have taken time off to visit family and friends.

I just checked... my application is in process now.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on September 8, 2010.

Hi Guys,

My ECAS status is still showing "Received by VO", but I received an email from the Detroit office yesterday saying my medical forms have been released. My file was transferred to the Detroit office on July 26th.

==================================================================================================
We have now completed the initial assessment of this application, and expect to finalize it without a personal interview. While an interview does not appear necessary at this time, we reserve the right to call you to an interview, should this become necessary at some future stage in processing.
===================================================================================================

Yesterday was my birthday and I was hoping to get some good news, but when I checked my ECAS staus in the morning, my status had not changed, and I was disappointed. But guess what??? I got an email from the consulate at 3:50 PM with this wonderful news. I am so thrilled. This was such an awesome Birthday gift! Good Luck to everyone on this forum!

Thanks!
