I just sent my RPRF to La visa office as per instruction of my lawyer, even without receiving any request for it from Visa Office. Payable to CANADIAN CONSULATE GENERAL. I sent it through mail with tracking #.

For NYVO, you can pay by CAD or USD, but the name of payer will be different. Why don't you just wait for them to ask?

Did u pay in USD or canadian dollars? Demand draft or money order?

Also, I believe you put in one of those stickers that has your AOR on the letter that u sent with the money right?

I paid in CAD$ 490.00 using bank draft from Bank of America.I just enclosed a short letter indicating my file number.

Hi Jang,
I think it works to send the RPRF as early as now without the Visa Office asking for it. I received my PPR just today,by God's grace and mercy.Ecas still shows in process. Ottawa received the medicals on Aug 25,2010. I received PPR Sept 20,2010. All I can say is...To God be the glory! Hopefully you'll receive your PPR the soonest possible.

I guess now nearly everyone got the Med Req, so the thread is a little bit boring. And basically we're done with the hardest part. Now what?? Wait for the PRR... looking around and see if there is a chance for job, maybe... I don't want to land and being starved .

Okay so I've been following this thread for about a week and as smallduck said "nearly everyone got the Med Req", that has scared the hell out of me. So I've decided to break my silence (this is my first post). Following is my timeline:

App filed to CIO Sydney: August 12, 2009
1st AOR: October 27, 2009
File transferred to Buffalo: November 3, 2009
Docs sent to Buffalo: Feb 4, 2010 (they were returned cz of minor issues on March 30, 2010)
Docs sent again: March 31, 2010
2nd AOR: April 28, 2010
Status changed to "In Process": August 5, 2010

now it's been more than "6 weeks" and I haven't received any med or interview req. ... status still "In Process" ... I haven't contact the Buffalo office even once since March ... should I send them an email? (I don't even know if there is any email address, last time I posted a message through cic website AFAIR)

I'm afraid of postal mail getting lost in the way ... and the only way to be sure is contact Buffalo office ... should I do that?

It's been over 5 months since the buffalo office received our documents. I am still: "rcvd by VO". I am getting worried at this point...! Haven't rcvd anything from buffalo after the 2nd AOR.

Congrats on your PPR....thats really good news. As u mentioned, I will send in my RPRF ASAP. My meds reached Ottawa on Sep 15th. So if Isend in my RPRF by the first week of Oct, I think I should be OK.
