Unfortunately decission made is being interpreted in wrong way on many posts in this forum. However this is nt like that.
i am having Decission made since i applied and then it changed to IN PROCESS.
Decission has been made means, initial screening has been done and the file has been accepted and transfered to visa office for processiong.

Hi:
Got this e-mail from buffalo today. Please confirm that this is the second AOR.
Also, what will be the next step and how long does that generally take?
Thanks

Dear Applicant:

This is to advise you that your application for permanent residence has been received at the Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo, New York and that a file has been created for you. Your file number appears above. Please note that this file number is different from the one that was assigned to you by the Case Processing Centre in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this new file number in any future correspondence.

Before your application can be placed in processing, a determination will be made as to whether or not you are eligible for processing. If your application is not eligible for processing, you will receive a letter informing you of the reasons for the decision as well as a refund.

I received my 2nd AOR from Buffalo on November 18th.

My full documents were received by VO on July 13th.

Thanks and all the best to all.

Yes, this is the second AOR. Good luck with the future steps...

Thanks Vermas. Good luck to you too!

Received by Visa Office - Completeness of documents is verified and AOR is issused. If application is rejected, fee is refunded.

In Process - The application meets the Ministrial Instuctions (FSW1, 2, 3), NOC requirement, scored over 67 points and file is process, background checks start. If application is rejected, fee is not refunded.

Thanks Vermas.
So in process is the step after RBVO.Am i right ?
As update on my application via ecas shows in process and when i click this it gives further details that file trasfered to Buffalo in April 2010.Then documents recieved by Visa office ( no date given ) and then pending review.Any idea how much time it will take,i am working in canada on work visa.
How could u check ur online status of application with ur 2nd AOR number. And if there comes any difference in online status whether u check with ur first issued number starting with B.Would appreciate ur response.

Considering the current time lines, it may take 3-5 months to get medical instructions unless your application gets stuck in deep background checks. How could u check ur online status of application with ur 2nd AOR number.Same site and in the same manner as with the 1st AOR And if there comes any difference in online status whether u check with ur first issued number starting with B. The info/status should be the same with both file numbers. If it is different. you may wish to notify the VO. Would appreciate ur response.

Good luck....
