anyone know how long it takes to recieve caips notes?..i sent in the forms on the last week of march and my $5 cheque was cashed on april 8, 2011....

buffalo says indefinitely longer times due to:
- large volume of applications
- processing "issues" beyond their control

what the hell? ... some news from buffalo after a long time and that too a discouraging one ... ??? ... ... :'( ...

if you could comment on my ecas status or any1 else has idea.

My ecas status says IN PROCESS with following details.

We received your application for permanent residence on February 24, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 24, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on April 10, 2010. The Buffalo office may contact you.

This staus is since october last wk and i recieved my 2nd AOR in november 1st wk.

And there is another thing, i sent my initial IELTS with my initial documents as well.But now i took my Academic IELTS again so if i need to send the updated result to them as well again.

hi smallduck, did you consider the idea of taking your passport to VO in person after getting PPR? ... you could get your visa stamped the same day

given the delays in every step of the process, i'd be afraid mailing them my passport after PPR lest they give me a BFD of 2 or 3 months when all that needs to be done is a one-day process ... i'd prefer a road-trip to their building and make sure i'm done by the end of the day

Congratulations Smallduck. I was wondering how many days after your ecas changed into "in process" did you received your "medical request".

I never been to this forum before, however, after checking your time line, i'm totally frustrated, applicants in 2009 are still waiting for mr, what the hell gonna happen to us appling after 2010. damn buffalo!
