I will suggest you to send a copy by snail mail and email both.Varangian said:Hi Guys! Really need your professional advice!
It could be that this question has been already asked. Anyway, I assume some CEC applicants might be in the same situation. The point is that I applied for BOWP without AOR providing a letter of explanation. The application was sent by regular post. Finally AOR has been received.
So, would you recommend to make a copy of that AOR and forward it to the Office to support my original application or they check the online system (even for paper appicants), will find my updated status, and there is no need to send any hard copies.
I would appreciate any help!!
Congrats!! See, I told you, you'll be finelufc_cal said:BOWP approved today, Applied 25th Feb. Huge relief!
True. With some things as important as this there'll always be lingering doubts in your mind.iam_toby said:Congrats!! See, I told you, you'll be fine

They should see your AOR on file but it won't hurt if you email them your AOR.Varangian said:Hi Guys! Really need your professional advice!

Thanks LPS for your response!LPS said:An application for a "bridging open work permit" is basically just an application for an open work permit.
There are many groups that are eligible to apply for open work permits. See "Who can apply for an open work permit?" (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=177&t=17). It may or may not be clear to the processing officer which one of these groups you are in.
For this reason many people choose to attach an explanation letter, explaining how they are eligible. That is, they meet the criteria of operational bulletin 485A, "Bridging Open Work Permits for Certain Federal Economic Class Applicants" (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2013/ob485A.asp). Attaching an AOR is one way to demonstrate that you have received a "positive eligibility decision" as defined by OB485A.
