Could you tell me your BOWP time lines: Applied Date? and Approved Date?Acestar said:Well I received my BOWP recently after roughly 25 days. I am trying to apply for the Temporary resident visa online but any idea on what should I enter under details of employer or person visiting since I am looking for a new job ?
An application for a "bridging open work permit" is basically just an application for an open work permit.priyas614 said:What is a 'letter of explanation' in terms of BOWP? Is it a cover letter explaining your details along with AOR email attached to it or something else? Please clarify. Thanks!

Good news, a little more hopeful to have mine by the end of this week nowsonofapeach said:It varies from one application to another. My wife and I applied for BOWP on 23 Feb, and got the approval yesterday.
That makes it 17 days. And please note, you don't always get notified by email. Check myCIC often
Hi,Acestar said:Here is my timeline of BOWP. I applied online on 15 Feb and received it in mail on 11 March but got confirmation online 6 days before. I dont think they work on weekends though.
Anyone have applied TRV with BOWP ?, if so can you help me out on what to fill up in person or institution visiting detail as it is open permit.
Do you mean we could quote a friends name for bowp, as my case I am looking for a new job, so as of now cant name an employer. And did you just scan your passport page and bowp permit copy to send online ?anveshaluwala said:Hi,
Me and wife also applied for TRV through online last week..U can fill any of your friends name and address in that no problem..You can also write 5000$ in the box where it asks funds available for living..
