Hi Guys, For those applicants who are still waiting for their AOR it might make sense to fill out an official request on the CIC web site to see if the file is not lost. The form can be found and filled out on here https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx...

If nobody has replied yet... I believe, it's the same. To be 100% sure, checking your application status, better use the Client ID Number, which can be found on every immigration document you have from working permits in the past to PR card.

My guess, it really depends on an officer. Each and every of them uses a different approach. Some of the officers are faster than the others. Some may update the system right away, while others wait until the last AOR sent to the last applicant in their pile to click "In Process" button...

I was sent on Oct 13 and delivered on Oct 16. CIC stuff signed the delivery. That's how I know the precise day and even time. Looks like, right now they are catching up with applications received on the same dates.

Please, update, I got my AOR today! I hope, everyone who is still waiting will get it very soon too. The fact I got it after 2 months of waiting is telling that CIC just way too behind their schedule, but we are not forgotten and our files are not lost!

Just to introduce another approach... I'm keeping my email always open in front of me while I'm at work. As well, my cell phone always notifies me as soon as I get a new email :-)
