They said they get the packages back around 2:30pm Beirut time, just checking..

Visa application, tracking ID No. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx- Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canadian Embassy in Beirut , on 24/03/2014 to the Canada Visa Application Centre Lebanon, Beirut ,Verdun.

Then they CALLED in the afternoon to pick it up on Wednesday

Guys, i have emailed the embassy regarding change of address 1 month and a half ago, and my address still did not change on my ecas. Does any one know how long does it usually take them to change it? should i email them and ask them about it?

As far as I know, they do not reply with confirmation. But if it's not changed on ecas, I suggest you call CIC call center and explain the situation to an agent, he will be able to advise you better.

By the way, can you please send in your info so we can add them in the spreadsheet? thanks.

Its okay! I was thinking of removing that row, what matters is when the app was received it is usually 2-3 days after sending. AOR stand for aknowledgment of receipt. It is when they send you an e-mail that they have received your app usually 15 days after they receive it... 2nd AOR is when the file is transfered to beirut.
No worries, i updated all ur info except the exam date. If u ever ordered your notes, you can know it from there.

I suggest you check ur ecas daily. It might change any second

I just sent my spousal sponsorship application via DHL to the CIC in Mississauga. I am currently living in Beirut and Im sponsoring my husband....Hoping that it doesnt take so long as we have 2 children and I would like to have them in Canada and in school by September 2015....any ideas how long total processing times will be?? I know that in Canada it shouldnt take more than 2 months but in Beirut it says that processing times are 21 months....is that possible??? Pleae if anyone can enlighten me it would be great

I suggest you go through the thread. You'll find a lot of valuable information in it.
After that, fill in the little questionnaire chris_z77 posted on page 23 (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/beirut-fam-applicants-forwarded-to-cppottawa-t156017.0.html;msg2989331#msg2989331) and PM it to me or him.

Don't hesitate to ask for further questions.

My wife got her PPR in around 14 month, and her passport is currently at the embassy for stamping. Expecting it back any day...
Some people have really fast applications (we heard stories of ppl getting visa stamped in 4-6 month all in all), some people are less luck, and take around 18-24 month..
